The Forbidden Scrolls in Morbane It is located in The Bone Zone. Once collected, it unlocks the Secret Menu, which provides clues to find secret characters and allows players to cast Spells.
 
 

How to Unlock

 
The Forbidden Scrolls in Morbane The Skull Pile of The Bone Zone will drop it. You can find them using the Milky Way Map. Once Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane are collected, they cannot be dropped by Skull Pile. However said Skull Pile still sprouts every time you run in The Bone Zone.

This relic may be a reference to the movie Morbius, a film in which the main character, Dr. Michael Morbius, is a vampire.
 
 
 

Spell & cheat codes

 
Spell This mechanic allows you to use cheat codes to unlock characters, stages and relics. Most cheat codes must first be entered in Secrets menu. Forbidden Scrolls in Morbane You can, but you must include some in the main menu.
 
 
Codes that are not found on the Secrets Menu must be entered within two seconds to register. Arrow keys are required for directional inputs.

• Game Killer (0), Mad Groove (VIII), Out of Bounds (XII), Disco of Gold (XV), and Silent Old Sanctuary (XX) – “aintnobodygottimeforthat”
• Petting O’Sole (one time per run) and healing O’Sole during a run – “pet”.

• The code to unlock Exdash comes from the cheat code XX!V’Q in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. This gives Alucard a high Luck stat in exchange to other stats being higher.
• The code to unlock Il Molise can be found in its description.
• The code to unlock the Arcanas time gated is a reference a viral YouTube video of Kimberly “Sweet Brown,” Wilkins being interviewed after she escaped an apartment fire.
• Mindbender’s code to unlock it is a reference of the quote “C’mon Teletubby. Teleport us all to Mars!” Tammie Brown, RuPaul’s Drag Race.
• The code to heal and pet O’Sole refers specifically to playing with dogs in video games. It was popularized by the twitter account Can You Pet The Dog. It is important to note which video game allows you to interact with your dog.

• The code to unlock O’Sole is named after the credits theme of Okami, “Reset”.
• The code to unlock Toastie comes from Mortal Kombat II. To fight the hidden character Smoke players would need to play on a particular stage and wait until Dan Forden appears and say “Toasty”, before pressing Down + start.
• The code to unlock Smith is a reference for a cheatcode in Ultima VI. Talk with Lolo and then type “spam”, into “spam”, into “spam”, into “spam”, into “humbug”, then enter.

• The code that unlocks Gyorunton is a reference Star Ocean: Second Evolution. It is a remake of Star Ocean: The Second Story. Gyorunton is named after one of the optional characters from the game.
• The code to unlock Leda is a reference To Sorceress Adel from Final Fantasy VIII. She, through radio interference phenomena shows several messages at Timber TV Station’s screen. One of these messages is “I WILL NOT LET YOU FORGET ALL ABOUT ME”.
• Big Trouser can be unlocked by the phrase “e arrivato lo l’arrotino”, which is a refrain that knife grinders in Italy use to attract attention to small towns.
• If one enters the “spinnn”, and closes the secrets, menu, while the UI is spinning at the same time, the background of main menu will freeze. It will remain pivoted at an unusual angle up until the spell is entered once again.
