General strategy for 49/20 mode (as well as some of the offices)
Once you start your night, you want to immediately press 1 + space + s . This will turn on the power generator, turn off the fan, and open the camera. Next, you want to go to duct system and place an audio lure here;
After you have done that, you want to move back to your main cameras, and make sure to counter Toy Freddy by closing the appropriate door that Mr. Hugs is in front of.
Finally, go to camera 2, so we can begin camera stalling the plushies. Before you exit out of the camera, make sure to reset ventilation, as that will reset the 30 second timer till you have to reset again.
Next, check if foxy or bonnie is on the desk. If it is bonnie, continue to switch between your global music box and power generator and fan, to both keep the temperature cool and make sure that both marionette, chica, and lefty are happy. The music box takes 20 seconds to wind up from 0, so I would recommend switching from the global music box and power generator and fan after every 15 seconds
The reason being is because in order to make sure chica is happy, you just need to global music box on every 15 seconds. So, for example, you want to turn the global music box on at 29 seconds instead of 31 because there is a chance that chica will attack you, even if you turned it on after that 15 second mark. Also, I would recommend using the heater before you camera flip.
If it is foxy on the desk, you want to try and get him off by camera flipping (section below explains camera flipping). However, with foxy there seems to be a timer before you can get him off your desk, and normally I wait around 10 seconds before camera flipping, just to make sure that he gets off. Continue to follow all of these steps repeatedly, and get used to doing everything in order.
Camera flipping
Camera flipping is whenever you flip up your camera, either to reset the ventilation or to try and get foxy off your desk, and then flip it back down. However, in 49/20 mode, there are a few things you want to make sure you don’t miss whilst doing this. First, before you camera flip, I would wait until after it reaches any 10 on the clock, by that I mean 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, or 0, because on any of these times, there is a good chance that El Chip will appear, and this will most likely ruin your run.
Now that we know when is a good time to camera flip and why we do it, let’s talk about how. First, you want your mouse to be in the bottom right corner, somewhere in the middle of the left wall of the vent, that way you can reset ventilation as fast as possible. Next, you want to turn on your fan, the power generator, and close your left door and front vent. Finally, you want to quickly flip the camera up, reset ventilation, and then close it. As soon as you close it, you want to make sure to flip your mask up just in case golden freddy or any other animatronic such as withered bonnie appears. Just note, that when camera flipping there is a chance that rockstar bonnie will attack, or toy freddy, or any other animatronic similar to that. Don’t camera flip for no reason, as there becomes a greater chance for your run to end unexpectedly.
Camera and office stalling
You might have noticed my use of the term camera stalling while I was explaining the strategy for 49/20 mode, and have been pretty confused, so I will do my best to explain what camera and office stalling is. The strategy that most players use for 49/20 mode or really any mode that has the plushies involved is camera stalling. This is when you stay on a certain camera, and for some reason , it stops whoever is on that camera from attacking you. For the plushies, as long as you are on cam 2 before 1:05, they will not kill you. However, if you swap out of cam 2, they will kill you immediately.
Office stalling is when you let all of the vent and door animatronics, with a lack of better word, build up on each other, and then you counter them all at once, either right before or while you camera flip. Keeping your front vent closed while you camera flip protects you from all of the animatronics in the vents (doesn’t include the air duct animatronics), and closing your left door right before you camera flip stops freddy from killing you. Both office and camera stalling are critical for this strategy, and are very neat concepts to learn.
The first office (2000 points)
the first office is the easiest thing to do as you can simply choose characters that cant kill you, here’s a list of what characters you will want for your first 10/20 mode
Bonnie – Bonnie is not capable of killing you, if you look at him while he is in the cove, he will disable your cameras for a short amount of time.
BB & JJ – BB and JJ basically do the same thing, they will appear in your side vent, and before you flip up the camera, simply close the vent (f) to counter them. They will either disable your flashlight or your door controls.
Phantom mangle and Phantom BB – These two are triggered whenever you flip up your camera, to counter them simply press on the camera system again, or you can flip your camera down and back up, however this has a much higher chance of them appearing again for a second time.
Phantom Freddy – He will slowly accumulate in your office, when you see him, flash your light at him (z) to make him go away.
Old Man Consequences – Will disable your camera if you don’t catch a fish on time, simply press c when the orange dot is over the arrow.
Trash and the Gang – ???
Helpy – Just click it whenever you see it in your office.
Rockstar Foxy – DONT CLICK THE PARROT
El Chip – either manually press skip or press enter whenever his ad appears (chance to appear every 10 seconds, not a bad idea to spam enter prematurely)
Funtime Chica – Ooh la la
Phone Guy – Whenever you hear ringing , look for a button on your screen that say’s “mute call” , otherwise he will create a large audio disturbance.
That’s 13 of them, feel free to remove 3 or change their difficulty however, but you are unable to die from any of those, however, later on, these same characters could be a leading cause of your death.
Second office (5000 points)
Once again, you want
Bonnie – Bonnie is not capable of killing you, if you look at him while he is in the cove, he will disable your cameras for a short amount of time.

Nightmare Freddy – You will hear screaming in the background of your office as well as freddles shaking and slowly accumulating, simply flash your flashlight at them until they are gone.
Nightmare and Nightmare Fredbear – You will hear laughter on either your left or right doorways, as well as see eyes looking through the door, when you hear/see them, close the door you hear the laughter/see the eyes on.
Ballora – You will hear music playing from either the left or right doorway, close the door you hear music coming from.
Happy Frog, Mr. Hippo, Pigpatch – at the start of the game, simply place an audio lure here;
Rockstar Freddy – He will ask for 5 faz coins, either give them to him (if you have enough, you have no other uses for them), or use the heater until he malfunctions.
Lefty – I have yet to die to him ever, simply use the global music box every once in a while to calm him.
Third office (8000 points)
Once again, you want
Bonnie – Bonnie is not capable of killing you, if you look at him while he is in the cove, he will disable your cameras for a short amount of time.

The final 15 you want to add to get to 8000 points and to get the final office are;
Scrapbaby – she will appear in your office after a camera flip, and at some point she will readjust herself to where she is slightly looking at you. Press the shock button you will see on the desk in front of you if she does this.
Afton – Although he requires some reaction time, he is very noticible. He will attack once per night, making a lot of noise and the lights flicker, just close the side vent (f) to make him go away.
Molten Freddy, Ennard, Springtrap, Mangle, Withered Chica – Using the camera stalling method, simply close the front vent (w) everytime you put the camera up, and open the vent AFTER the camera is down again.
Music Man – If you hear the crashing of cymbals, turn on either silent ventilation or the global music box and make sure that anything that could be making noise (fan or noise related animatronics) are countered or off.
Rockstar Chica – Since you already close the left door everytime you open up the camera because of freddy, at the start of every round, make sure that at some point (before the first flip) you double click the wet floor sign so it switches to the right side. Simply closing the left door everytime you open your camera is enough to counter her.
Nightmare Mangle, Nightmare Bonnie, and Circus Baby – Using the camera stalling method, you must get to and stay at camera 2 for the entire night before 1:05. This will counter them, and you do not have to worry about buying plushies.
Withered Bonnie and Golden Freddy – Everytime after you put your camera down, throw your freddy mask on to counter these two.
Jack-O-Chica – Simply keeping the office cool is a great way to keep her away, however, if the office gets too hot, she may appear at both doors. To make her go away, first make sure the office is below 90 degrees, and then close both doors at the same time.
Final thoughts
I threw this together at like 3 am because I was really bored and I thought it might be cool to share some of this with you people of the UCN fandom.
