This guide is intended to assist players in navigating the game and to show them how to edit various values.
 

Navigating through files

First, and most obvious, go into Manage–>browse local file and you'll see this. Next, go to TotalTankSim_Data.
 
 

 
 
After that, you can go to ExtraAssets.
 
 

 
 
The next two files will be found, dlc0 containing the Italian campaign and units file, and base.
 
 

 
 
We are now at the place where all the unit stats and content are available for you to see and modify to your liking.
 
 

 
 
 

Example of unit editing

After we have reached the desired location, i will show you two examples for unit or campaign editing. This is the Panzer VIII Maus unit that I edited using research cost.
 
 
Let's start by going through this tech tree file.
 
 

 
 
Check out the German section.
 
 

 
 
Scroll down until you see the Pz VIII maus. Open it using Notepad.
 
 

 
 
You can find research point costs and edit them to your liking.
 
 

 
 
If you need to modify more statistics for your units, navigate back to the Base section and navigate to the Units Section. It's similarly organised. Change unit cost through Value, activate override by setting it true, and set a value to your health or armour section.
 
 

 
 
 

Example of campaign editing

I'll edit this example with an insane amount of starting research money and points. Next, we'll look at the self-described campaign title.
 
 

 
 
Then, go to Germany.
 
 

 
 
Then, open Campaign through Notepad to edit starting funds and research points to your liking.
 
 

 
 
 

Final notes

I have just covered the basics, but there are many more options. You could do complete rebalancings like having the same units receive different statistics. For example, the panther could be given more armour and better health. It would also be slightly slower and more expensive than the 76 sherman.
 
 
Last but not least, don't set the values too high. Otherwise, the game might experience an integer overflow (. I think that's what it's called, IDK im not an expert). You'll be potentially softlocked.
