What are those hidden boxes you see here and there? The pages of The Wanderer’s Diary are hidden in them.
See the list of locations for a clue where they hid.
The Wanderer’s Journal itself – in case you don’t want to replay, but want to read missed hidden notes after you complete the game.
Spoiler free part
There are 42 hidden messages in the game, introducing you to the story of a stranger who has walked this path before you. A stranger is a character in the game whom you can meet, same way as those others who are written about.
Once found, you can see the messages in your bag as “Forgotten Things”.
Also in the upper left corner of the user interface, you can see how many secrets are found / not found in your current location.
All these secrets are absolutely optional:
- You can complete the game without them.
- You can save all the forlorn without them.
- You can 100% all the game achievements without them.
I had some fun searching, so maybe you want to find them yourself too.
This section is spoiler free, but be aware, all the following sections are full of spoilers. I advise you to choose which sections of this guide you want to use:
- Checklist – just a number, how many notes you can find in the area.
- Locations – screenshots and hints about where every chest is and how to get there.
- Journal pages – all the messages.
