With “Mod API” it is much easier to cheat in The Forest than with the integrated “Developermode”. Especially since you have much more possibilities via ModAPI and can also make minor changes to the gameplay.

How to

1. https://modapi.survivetheforest.net/game/TheForest/ – [survivetheforest.net]

2. select The Forest

3. base package (there is only one)

4. select the mods you would like to have

5. download your package

6. unpack the folder

7. start the ModAPI.exe

8. if it doesn’t find the game automatically just enter the path and start it. The rest happens automatically.

9. in the settings of the mods you can see the hotkeys and also change them if necessary.
