Step 1. Launch The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes
 
 
Step 2. Copy code
 
 
Step 3. Send code to one friend only
 
 
Step 4. Wait till your friend downloads the game
 
 
Step 5. You launch game and your friend launches his. Make sure you have a saved game by playing alone.
 
 
Step 6. You not your friend Click don’t play alone
 
 
Step 7. You not your friend Click shared story
 
 
Step 8. Click your friends name then wait till they joined. It will show your saved game

Your friend PC will have to meet the requirements of the game, they will be downloading the full game but it is labeled as Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes friends pass. BEFORE INVITING YOUR FRIEND Click play alone and Create a brand new game then exit right away back to main menu THAT WAY YOUR FRIEND EXPERIENCES THE WHOLE STORY there is multiple endings though so your friend will have to buy game to experience the other endings because they only get one full playthough based on your saved game.
 
 
AFTER ONE FULL PLAYTHOUGH HAVE YOUR FRIEND UNINSTALL THE GAME BECAUSE HE OR SHE CAN’T USE IT ANYMORE. HE or SHE WILL HAVE TO BUY OR GET GIFTED THE GAME OR HE or SHE CAN’T KEEP THIS GAME INSTALLED IF YOU HAVE MULTIPLE STEAM ACCOUNTS BUYING THE GAME OVER AND OVER AGAIN AND SENDING CODE OVER AND OVER AGAIN AFTER YOU USED IT HE OR SHE WOULD HAVE TO INSTALL THAT GAME FROM CODE, BUT IT MAY NOT LET THEM AS THE GAME IS TIED WITH THEIR ACCOUNT.
