Introduction

The game has a system of auto-save and it’s impossible come bak to previous chapters. So, if you miss some achievements or secondary goals, you will must play the game from the beginning. Consequently, I suggest you:

-Read often your goal list because the secondary goals appear suddenly and it’s very easy to miss them.

-Do NOT accomplish the main goals as long as you won’t obtain your achievements and secondary goals.

-Usually when you accomplish your secondary goals, Kate and Dana say something about it’s time to back to work. This is important in some scenario when you can’t look at your diary.

-When the game ask you if you are sure to leave some place, be sure to have obtained all your achievements before to confirm.

Get out of the mine.

First clue

Leave the Flower District.

The antique dealer

Leave the Antiques District.

The refuge

Leave the Silberspiegel refuge.

A stressful night

Leave the Flower District again.

Find Oscar again.

Missable Achievements 1/2

1: MUSICIANS’ SQUARE, 1937 (Dana)

Parallel investigation

Achieve your first secondary goal.

Go to the alley on the right BEFORE reaching the square.

Look the shop sign at the end of the alley.

Speak to the man fixing his shop on the way back (necessary even for next achievement).

Leave a trace…

Draw something for the bookseller in the wet cement.

(Necessary for “…for the future”)

2: CELL, 2004 (Kate)

Secondary goal:

Use “Introspection” on Kate’s bed BEFORE to pick up her work-stuff.

3: DANA’S HOME, 1937 (Dana)

Secondary goal:

Read all the documents in the house.

One is in the wooden box on top of the desk with a lamp.

Two are on the cash register counter.

One is on Anton’s workbench.

4: MINE TUNNEL, 2004 (Kate)

Secondary goal:

Check the bodies near to the motorbike and at the end of the cavern. Check in the luxury car the dead officer (head, gun, escutcheons, suicide note). Look the structures of the gallery and the vagons blocked by the rubbles)

5: FLOWER DISTRICT, 2005 (Kate)

Eavesdrop

Try to listen to the other guest’s phone conversation.

Interact with the occupied puclic telephone in the guest house until you unlock the achievement.

Clean slate

Empty your email account.

Connect at the computer and read your e-mails.

Browser (PART 1/2)

Search all possible terms you can on the computer.

Search all the terms on the computer.

Secondary goal:

Look around the streets of the district BEFORE taking the tram.

At the bottom of the stairs, inspect the flowerbed and the gate to the botanical garden.

In front of the guest house, read the sign and look at the window boxes.

Look the motorbike.

6: ANTIQUARIANS’ DISTRICT, 2005 (Kate)

Secondary goal:

Visit all the merchant stalls BEFORE visiting the antique shop.

Speak to Herr Müller after chasing Oscar, BEFORE you leave.

7: HIKING TRAIL, 2005 (Kate)

Secondary goal:

Look at the view from the dead tree (do it BEFORE to continue).

Look the memorial plaque and the cigar on the ground BEFORE you reach the bridge (do it BEFORE to continue).

8: SILBERSPIEGEL REFUGE, 1937 (Dana)

Secondary goal:

Choose a painting by leon on the table BEFORE accomplishing all the Herr Gustav requests (necessary for “Pictorial dilemma” and “Art critic”).

Play the piano with Leni until she gets frustrated and stops.

9: SILBERSPIEGEL REFUGE, 1937 (Kate)

Secondary goal:

Learn about the history of the refuge BEFORE opening Frau Junta’s Coffer.

OUTSIDE

Interact with the railing.

The blocked red trail to Devil’s Pass.

Speak to Leni about everything AFTER finding her medal in the attic and the newspaper about Leon in her bedroom.

Take all the photos you can with the telescope.

GROUND FLOOR

Speak to the Belgian traveler and listen to all of his stories.

FIRST FLOOR

Photos and newspaper clippings in Leni’s room.

A copy of “The Magic Mountain” at the top of the stairs (necessary for “A classic novel”).

ATTIC

Leni’s medal and the letter from Voralberg.

Tourism

Take all the photos you can with the telescope.

Loyal

Do not report Leni to Junta.

In the flashback with Dana, do NOT report Leni to Junta.

ATTENTION: this achievement is alternative to “Betrayed” that so will require a new play-run. I don’t know if it would be possible for you to exit at the main menu quickly, re-load and choose to report Leni.

Betrayed (PART 1/2)

Report Leni… then try to justify your actions years later.

In the flashback with Dana, report Leni to Junta.

10: GUEST HOUSE (Night), 2005 (Kate)

Secondary goal:

Browser (PART 2/2)

Search all possible terms you can on the computer.

Search all the new terms after you returned from the refuge.

10.5: WALKER HOME, 1983 (Young Kate)

Secondary goal:

Look at all the hotspots BEFORE picking up the musical swan.

An unopened letter.

A magazine on the dining room table.

A letter from Kate’s grandparents.

Two family photos.

The exit door (try to exit).

A book in the drawer (necessary for “A classic novel”).

A classic novel

Find all the copies of a literary classic.

You must find a copy of “The Magic Mountain” by Thomas Mann with Kate at the SiberSpiegel Refuge and another at the Wlaker House with young Kate.

Missable Achievements 2/2

11:GUEST HOUSE (Night), 2005 (Kate)

Secondary goal:

Interact with the front desk BEFORE calling Olivia.

12:GUEST HOUSE, 2005 (Kate)

Secondary goal:

Talk with Frau Wagner about everything.

13:MUSICIANS’ SQUARE, 2005 (Kate)

Secondary goal:

Use the introspection near the piano in the square BEFORE entering in the Music Academy.

Speak with the director about everything BEFORE to play the piano.

…for the future

Look at Dana’s drawing in the cement with Kate.

It’s in the same alley where you found Oscar.

Old acquaintances

Try to call a number from one of the previous games at the Academy of Music.

Use the director’s phone to call Olivia (Use the phone-number in her letter from your inventory)

14: BRIDGE OF MISTS, 2005 (Kate)

Secondary goal:

Read the green and white posters.

Read the storm warning near at the memorial.

Where is her bedroom?

Find all the photos in the Roze’s home.

There are four photos. You can find them in the old kitchen, on the pile of stuff near to the ladder, on the desk of the storage room and on top of shelfs (after you see it from the hole on the upper floor)

15:BALTAYAR BASE CAMP (Leon)

Secondary goal:

See all the hotspots BEFORE leaving the camp, including inside Bauer’s chest (combo:0408)

Be prepared

Fill the water bottle BEFORE leaving base camp.

16:BALTAYAR WOODS (Leon)

Secondary goal:

Look at the book, canteen, and axehead near the flag and the white handprint on the rock BEFORE searching Sauer.

17: CEMETERY, 2005 (Kate)

Secondary goal:

Read the plaque listing the cemetery’s donors (North-east zone).

Cartographer

Find all the points of interest in the cemetery.

You must find/interact with four obstacles (dead ways), the toolshed at the west, the door-mechanism in the south, the pickaxe in the north-east and the Anna’s grave in the north.

(they must appear on the map)

18:SILBERSPIEGEL REFUGE (Night), 2005 (Kate)

Secondary goal:

Examine Leni’s wheelchair and the objects on the table in the common room.

Check all the hotspots in the Gorum’s room, expecially the posters.

The super resistant

Find the poster of the super resistant.

Look at the “Wanted” posters about Ludwing.

19:SILBERSPIEGEL REFUGE, 1944 (Dana)

Secondary goal:

Speak with Ludwig, Leni (necessary for “Betrayed”), Leon, and Exner BEFORE calling London with the radio.

Betrayed (PART2/2)

Report Leni… then try to justify your actions years later.

Speak with Leni. When she accuse you to have reported her to Junta, try to justify yourself.

Art critic

Choose one of Leon’s paintings and see it years later with Dana.

See the Leon’s painting on the wall of your bedroom (BEFORE calling London with the radio).

20:MUSIC ACADEMY, 1945 (Dana)

Secondary goal:

Talk with Höss, Sauer, and Gustav BEFORE entering the infirmary to say goodbye to Leni.

21:WALKER HOUSE, 1983 (Dana)

Secondary goal:

Look all the hotspots in the house as long as Dana will say something about it’s time to leave.

Achieve half of your secondary goals.
