Super Raft Boat Achievement Guide (WIP)

General Tips

 
Hold right click the entire time. There is really no reason to not be putting down raft pieces. With this in mind, the Big Pockets trinket seems pretty much worthless. 
Hot sauce, plastic straw, granola bar, and plastic fangs are always useful. 
Venuz’s blessing doubles projectiles, but slows your reload. For Helveti it seems to be worthwhile, but I think it’s too much of a downside for the others. 
Lightning rod seems like it’s only a hindrance unless you’re trying to unlock Roboto. 
Net isn’t particularly useful for Chauncy, but it seems okay for the other two. 
I would probably recommend getting Romantic novel as Roboto, but the other two have enough health not to bother. 
Sheet metal seems pretty useful for later levels with Chauncy, but if you’re down to the point of sheet metal with the other two, you’re probably already screwed. 
Dead fish seems helpful for Chauncy and Roboto, but not so much for Helveti. Regardless, it just doesn’t seem as useful as some of the alternatives. 
I’ve never used the pickaxe. Rocks don’t really seem like a common enough issue to bother getting it. 
 
You’ll obviously want to kill the narwhals, big sharks, and shotgun fish as quickly as possible, because they’ll decimate your raft. The shotgun fish cast some weird illusion on the other side that you can’t shoot. You can tell the difference by the illusions being more transparent. 
 
 

Kraken Killer

 
Self-explanatory. Just kill the Kraken. 
 
 

The Sea Calls

 
In order to loop the game, shoot the chair on the island, then hop on the new raft. 
 
 

Machine Gun

 
Reach the island as Helveti, and sit in the chair. 
 
 

Fishy

 
Kill 100 fish in a single run to unlock this costume. You’ll need to loop for this. Hold left click the entire time, there’s really no downside. 
 
 

Chauncy

 
To unlock Chauncy, simply die to a shark. 
 
 

Slugger

 
Reach the island as Chauncy, and sit in the chair. 
 
 

Hammerhead

 
For this, you’ll have to kill 80 sharks in one run. You’ll need to loop for this. I’m not sure if the small sharks slamming into the raft counts as a kill, but it doesn’t seem like it, so I’d recommend intercepting them as much as possible, so that you don’t have to survive as much hell. I haven’t been able to do this yet, but here’s what’s worked best for me. 
Use the default gun, not the slugger. The accuracy boost doesn’t seem worth the lower damage. 
Sheet metal seems very helpful. You don’t have to worry about defending the raft as much, and can focus more on dodging. 
Be in the water whenever there are no enemies onscreen, so that you can have full breath when they show up. 
If you leave a fish or bird alive at the end of a wave, you can just swim circles around them to rebuild your raft as much as you like. 
 
 

Roboto

 
To unlock Roboto, die to lightning. The lightning rod trinket obviously helps with this. 
 
 

Laser Rifle

 
Reach the island as Roboto, and sit in the chair. 
 
 

Duster Buster

 
For this, you need to loop three times. Not sure if you need to complete 3 full loops, or just start the third, as I haven’t been able to do this one. 
The laser rifle seems way better than the gatling gun, so I’d recommend using it. 
 
 

Daily

 
Just select daily from the main menu and finish it. (When I did it, it didn’t seem any different than the normal game.) 
 
 

Really Clear Skies

 
For this, you need to finish the first area without taking damage or losing a raft piece. I used Helveti with the machine gun for this. Keep your raft pretty small so that you have more time to react to sharks, and obviously try to take out fish and birds before they get close. 
 
 

(Secret) A New Friend

 
For this, you need to get the penguin to the island. Build wide, so that you can catch the egg. It will eventually hatch into a penguin. He will ice up your raft, which is very annoying. For this reason, I recommend using Chauncy, since he doesn’t need to stand on the raft much. Build around the penguin as much as possible, and protect the raft tiles around him as much as possible so that he doesn’t float away.
