How to unlock the Starlight Strand Island in Slime Rancher 2

Gathering and Spawning

When you first spawn in, immediately move straight towards the Rainbow Fields.

Once you reach Rainbow Fields, start collecting veggies, fruits, meat, and other foods. For the Pink Gordo you will need 30 of the following food items: 30 Carrots, 30 Carrots, and 15 Water Lettuce to make the Cotton Gordo.

Rainbow Island Maps

Simply go below the Archway, which has 2 stacked slimes to its right.

Continue on straight and you’ll soon spot the map. Interact with it.

This will unlock half Rainbow Island.

For the Second Map, locate the triple slimestone statuary with the Refinery Link near it. If you look closely, the map can be seen on the right side of the picture, on top of some grassy arches.

To the left is the Triple slime statue, with the refinery. There will be a cave passageway. Go through it!

Once you have completed the route, continue on the sandy road until there is a ramp on your right. From there, climb the ramp and follow signs to the map. It should be fairly easy to locate it from there.

There you have it! All of Rainbow Island is now mapped for you!

Unlocking the Ember Valley

Now that you have the map open, locate the Pink Gordo at the following location on the map.

You can give him 30 different items until it pops! When he does, it reveals a large Geyser.

Steer in the middle and fly up to it from the cliff to your left!

You can walk along the cliff and reach the pedestal to interact with it.

Boom! Ember Valley! A home to a variety slimes such as the Angler & Puddle slimes. Unique materials like Silky Sand, Primordy Ole and Radiant Ore are available to you to build the Jetpack!

You will eventually find an area with three geysers that form a triangle. To reach the 1st EmberValley Map, you’ll need to launch on one of these geysers.

An explosive cave of bats! can be found on Ember Island.

I got something worse, however!

Cotton Gordo & Unlocking Starlight Strand

Do you remember how I said at the beginning that I would grab some veggies? !

I hope you did! You’ll Need 30 carrots to pop Gordo, or 15 water lettuce, it’s favourite food.

You’ll find your buddy waiting by the Rainbow fields location if you follow a large ramp.

Now, just feed him until you see results!

And voilà! Filled with happy friends, descend into the cave to interact with the pedestal at the bottom. (I recommend doing this at night. It’s so much prettier.

After interfacing, you’ll be able to see a lightshow along the route. You can then travel back to the place it happened by going through the cave passage at Slime’s statue.

Starlight Strand

Entering the Teleporter,(Through a loading screen, you are directed onto the gorgeous, wiggly island Starlight Strand.

The 1st map is actually the back of the teleporter Starlight Strand. To climb up, you’d need the Jetpack. Refer to images to find your way to the map.

After a little bit more running around, you will find the 22A223998A.

This island is home even more varied types of slimes, honey, rock, and hunter slimes.

There are many interesting passageways you can find all over the island.

Rainbow Island-based resources don’t contain the only unique resources.

And there are gordos at all the Cracks & Crevices ready to guide you onto more curiosity & adventure.
