What are SyncDisks

In Shadows of Doubt, SyncDisks are consumables that provide permanent enhancements to your characters.

 

How to Acquire, Use, and Upgrade SyncDisks

Acquire

SyncDisks can be found in high-end safes as well as randomly throughout the world. SyncDisks are also unusual side-job incentives. The Sync Clinic staff will sell one SyncDisk at random. The Sugar Daddy Sync Disk is distinct in that it may be purchased for r5 from any Kola machine.

Use

SyncDisks can be installed at a Sync Clinic. Clinics can be found on the map with a DNA icon or in the detective log.

Upgrade

 

Sync Disk Upgrade Vials are required to upgrade SyncDisks. These are fairly common in businesses and homes. Upgrade Vials can be purchased for r1000 from medical vending machines.
