(This guide assumes you know the basics of getting to the games local files. It’s been explained before and really reading guides you should at least know the basics)

So I’ve noticed that there are a couple ways to get the survival tiles in the world editor. Here is just an alternative way of getting these tiles without the use of the workshop or really anything other than just copy and paste.

First go into the scrap mechanic local files. And go to the survival terrain tiles folder found here
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Scrap Mechanic\Survival\Terrain\Tiles

Ignoring the ERROR.tile you’ll notice a bunch of different folders. These are the different types of tiles. Roads/Cliffs, Different biomes etc. Simply copy and paste the contents of these folders into a singular folder that you have elsewhere like your desktop it’s only temporary so it really doesn’t matter. It’s Important that you take all the files of each folder not just the image. It only works if you have the .png .tile and .tile.export so to be safe just take everything. ALSO MAKE SURE THAT YOU COPY AND NOT CUT.

Once you have all the .png .tile and .tile.export files you want in the one folder copy and paste them all into this folder here
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Scrap Mechanic\Data\Terrain\Tiles\CreativeTiles

This process can also get you access to the tiles used to create the world border in creative worlds that you normally wouldn’t get otherwise. Specifically the fence tiles and the dessert coast tiles. Just copy and paste the contents from the Auto files found both
Here
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Scrap Mechanic\Data\Terrain\Tiles\ClassicCreativeTiles\Auto
And Here
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Scrap Mechanic\Data\Terrain\Tiles\CreativeTiles\Auto

This method is untested in multiplayer but using any of these doesn’t get any error message like the “xyz tile isn’t uploaded to friends can’t join” so feel free to test that for me.

I don’t know what to put here lol

So I’ll put a funny joke.
Did you here about the skeleton that wasn’t cool?
He didn’t have a… hip bone is his body *Bu dum tiss*
