Ori and the Blind Forest story summary(major spoilers)

The light

Ori’s story starts whit light .In the game light is a very important element of the game. Light needs a vessel to thrive so it choose’s to reborn itself as a tree.To protect itself the tree make’s some small curios little creatures called spirit guardians .This is where the action really begins. As the tree grew bigger and bigger new spirit guardians began to be born a small spirit guardian was born carrying the name Ori.

Ori the spirit guardian

Ori is a spirit guardian that was found by “naru” a peaceful creature that lived in the forest of Nibel.Naru loved ori and ori loved naru too but in a night the spirit tree started a weird light show but the two didn’t know the events that would later unfold.As some stuff about ori well there isn’t much to tell you but I do know that his gender is unknown and that he is the last spirit guardian after a giant owl named “kuro ” attacked the spirit guardians for some unknown reason.( for now)

The three elements

The aftereffects of kuro’s attack resulted in the downfall of the whole forest . The story goes as this because of the three elements(water,wind,warmth) destabilizing the forest was affected.Food became rare to find and because of this naru dies and Ori moves on .Ori meets sein (the core of the spirit tree).They get out of the glades and go on a quest to restore the three elements.

Some lore about kuro

Kuro is a character that stays mostly unknown to the player throughout the game but there are some parts of the game were some stuff is disclosed about her.For example on of the biggest things that we know for sure about her is that she hates the light due to it killing her children well this is known through a cinematic that plays out when you arrive in kuro’s nest.The cinematic also tells us that she is most likely the one who attacked the spirit tree.Through a cinematic that happens at the beginning of the game we also know that she is responsible for killing all the rest of the spirit guardians.This also explains why the spirit tree was calling ori in the opening cinematic.The spirit tree needed help to restore itself and keep the forest alive.

Gumo the spider like creature

Gumo is a spider like creature whit a kinda dark truth.Well he first thinks that you are a enemy but after you save him he becomes a friend and even goes so far to even reviving naru later in the game.Well there isn’t much else about him other the the fact that he is the last of one of his species after a disaster that happened in the folron ruins and killed every one of his kind except for him.That also explains why he try’s to save his species and seems worried in this stage of the game.

Kuro’s last attack

When ori restored the last element (the element of warmth)kuro try’s to attack ori and kill him once it for all ori runs and barley escapes from kuro’s attack .While ori was restoring the last element gumo revived naru.Naru takes action and try’s to find ori.As the forest was burning ori reaches the spirit tree .In the same time he/she gets shut down by kuro and just in time naru arrives to stop her from killing ori .The lava was slowly rising and kuro noticed that her nest was burning .In an attempt to save the last egg she steals sein and puts him in the spirit tree were he belongs.But it came whit a cost she died in the process.The rain starts and the forest stops burning.

The end

Well we arrived at the end of our adventure.The forest slowly restores .And as we are shown a beautiful scene the credits roll on we stay back and think about all the friends and curios creatures that we met and just like this guide ends.
