New World Arcana Leveling

Arcana is one of the 7 crafting-based trade skills that you can choose in the New World, an MMORPG released by Amazon Games. The grind for different skills is definitely fun. However, having a plan before you start leveling up in New World is a wise strategy.

You have the choice to choose from any of the 7 crafting professions like Jewelcrafting where each profession excels in certain items and recipes.

As you level your trade skills up, you’ll unlock exciting new things to unlock that will aid you through your journey.

Arcana

The Arcana Crafting Skill focuses mainly on crafting magical weapons, potions, ice gauntlets, and anything related to alchemy. These items and potions are pretty useful in combat and will provide you with a competitive advantage over your opponents.

The Arcanists with a higher level will always have powerful weapons, potions, and can craft weapons with a high Gear Score.

Arcana can only be performed at an Arcane Repository, which is found in Settlements. You will need to take on Town Projects in order to reach a Tier level that will allow you to craft.

Every craftable weapon has a required tier level that your Arcane Repository should meet, or else you need to find another settlement with a higher level Arcane Repository.

The strategic positioning of Tier 4 Arcane Repositories alone can have a direct influence on your crafting skill.

Required Materials

For the materials that you need to level your Arcana skill, you will need to use all of the gathering resources in this game like fishing, mining, skinning, and harvesting resources.

This will take you a lot of time to gather all of the materials to level up quickly. Below is the list of the materials that you need:

• Oil
• Tier 2 and Tier 3 Magical Plants
• Fresh Water
• Steel Ingots
• Tanglewisps (~100)
• Water Motes
• Coarse Leather
• Hyssop (50-60)

 

Related Skills

You can get additional XP for some of the skills that are related to Arcana Crafting Skill when you are performing Arcana. The two major sources of elemental resources for Arcanists are Mining and Harvesting that are required for this skill.

How to Power Level Arcana

Since there is no fixed way of leveling up trade skills faster in New World, there are many methods to speed up the process.

You can construct whatever you want if you just want a free-flowing type of game, as long as you figure out the most effective approach to increase the Arcana skill.

Below, we have made level divisions according to the items you need to craft. This will allow you to reach the max level per division and level up the Arcana skill quickly in New World.

Level 0 – 20

To power up from level 0 to level 20, you will need an Arcane Repository at Tier 2.

You will need to craft 57x Common Blight Tincture to get from Level 0 to Level 15, and 26x Common Angry Earth Coating to get from Level 15 to Level 20.

57x Common Blight Tincture will require the following ingredients:

• 57x Water
• 57x Earthspine Stem
• 57x Shockbulb Stem

26x Common Angry Earth Coating will require the following ingredients:

• 26x Oil
• 26x Shockbulb Stem
• 26x Tendrilspine Fibers

Level 20-40

You will need a Tier 2 Arcane Repository to go from Level 20 to near 40.

You will need to craft 30x Common Angry Earth Coating to get from Level 20 to Level 25, and 109x Common Angry Earth Coating and 109x Common Blight Tincture to get from Level 25 to Level 40.

30x Common Angry Earth Coating will require the following ingredients:

• 30x Oil
• 30x Shockbulb Stem
• 30x Tendrilspine Fibers

109x Common Angry Earth Coating will require the following ingredients:

• 109x Oil
• 109x Shockbulb Stem
• 109x Tendrilspine Fibers

109x Common Blight Tincture will require the following ingredients

• 109x Water

Level 40-60

You will need Craft at Arcane Repository Tier 2 to level up from 40 to 60. To reach level 50, we will need 90x Common Angry Earth Coating and 90x Common Blight Tincture.

From Level 50 to 55, we will need Arcane Repository Tier 3 and we will need 35x Strong Blight Tincture and 34x Strong Corruption Tincture. Finally, to reach level 55 to 60 craft 48x Strong Mana Potion and 48x Strong Blight Tincture.

109x Common Angry Earth Coating will require the following ingredients:

• 109x Oil
• 109x Shockbulb Stem
• 109x Tendrilspine Fibers

109x Common Blight Tincture will require the following ingredients

• 109x Water
• 109x Earthspine Stem
• 109x Shockbulb Stem

34x Strong Blight Tincture will require the following ingredients:

• 34x Water
• 34x Fungal Spores
• 34x Shockbulb Stem

34x Strong Corruption Tincture will require the following ingredients:

Level 60-80

To level up from 60 to 80, you will need Arcane Repository Tier 3. First, you will need to craft 62x Strong Mana Potion and 62x Strong Beast Coating.

From Level 65 to Level 80, you will need to craft 267 each of Strong Mana Potion, Strong Beast Coating and Strong Angry Earth Coating.

62x Strong Mana Potion will require the following ingredients:

• 62x Water
• 62x Crystalline Lodestone
• 62x Shockbulb Stem

62x Strong Beast Coating will require the following ingredients:

• 62x Oil
• 62x Fungal Slime
• 62x Shockbulb Stem

267x Strong Mana Potion will require the following ingredients:

Lastly, craft 112x Powerful Fire Absorption Potion and Powerful Lost Ward potion to reach level 120.

1036x Strong Mana Potion will require the following ingredients:

129x Powerful Blight Tincture will require the following ingredients:

996x Powerful Fire Absorption Potion will require the following ingredients:

996x Powerful Lost Ward Potion will require the following ingredients:
