A very helpful/useful guide for Need for Speed™ Unbound – Fixing DLSS Error

This guide will help you to fix the broken DLSS in-game.

When did this issue first begin?

The DLSS was working flawlessly until the most recent update, Vol.3. Somehow, this update completely stopped working DLSS.

The issue isn’t resolved. The other super-sampling options work fine. However, DLSS is affected.

If you don’t have an RTX GPU, then you’re in good shape.

What do you think it looks like?

My eyes are melting.

Yesterday, the glitches appeared different. It was all green with strange artifacts on the left and the rest of my screen appeared extremely glitchy and was moving continuously.

What can you do to fix it?

I cannot assure you that this will be effective for everyone however if it does then it’s a good thing!

First, you must leave your garage. Once you’ve completed that, you can then move on to DO NOT MOVE. You can alter your settings for graphics to AUTO, and then switch to the up scaling mode FSR or any else that isn’t DLSS.

If it is working, go back to the settings and enable DLSS again. Then, drive around. If it’s working go back to the settings menu and enable DLSS again. If STILL works, and there are no issues then change your game settings to medium or high (I play on ultra).

If it’s still working then you’re in good shape! I do this every time I start an online game and never have I encountered the issue again. I recommend setting your graphics to auto each time you quit the game. This way, if you return to the game you can return your game to the settings you made without having to go through the “curse” DLSS.

If this doesn’t work, there’s nothing else I can do. This is the only solution that I’ve found that works.

The MIGHT also varies depending on your GPU. I have an RTX 3060 Laptop, and I’m experiencing these issues. However, some RTX GPUs might not have this issue.

This is my first guide, and it’s likely to be a mistake. However, I wanted to assist anyone with this issue with the game.
