My Time At Portia [Astronomer] Achievement Guide - Walkthrough

A long-winded guide to getting the [Astronomer]achievement that nobody asked for, but I made anyway. :>

—

This achievement requires you to be Lovers with a character. Select Date and choose the 16:00–18:00 option.

Take your date to the top of the Church of the Light before 20:00, and once it hits 20:00 you can choose the ‘Stargaze’ option.

-This is only available on clear nights. It won’t work if it’s cloudy, raining, or snowing. You can use Ack to tell you the weather to help with this.

From there, you get a minigame to select stars to form a constellation.

It will give you a screen like this, showing the constellation pattern it wants:

(The ‘Eagle’ constellation)

Once the timer expires, click the stars needed to form the pattern shown. This counts as one of the five constellations.

You can stargaze twice per date (costs two moves).

The achievement requires five different constellations, or five unique patterns. This means you’ll have to do at least three dates to get a possible five, though it isn’t a guarantee. Sometimes they repeat, so hang in there.

Hints and Tips

Some extra commentary from my runs:

-If you don’t have Ack, or you’re doing it in early game, avoid trying to date in Winter. It snows most days. Wait until Spring!

-If you’re struggling to remember the pattern, you can screenshot the pattern and use it as a reference.

-Don’t leave it until end game. I can’t guarantee for all characters, but I finished the main storyline and extra quests, and my husband (Gust) kept running off at 7pm and ending our dates before I could trigger the stargazing.

-If you aren’t trying to do any other achieves, this can be done quickly by getting up and going back to sleep immediately to skip through the week. Then you can date again, and rinse & repeat until you get the five constellations.

It’s a lot easier than you think, it’s just fiddly and time consuming.

I hope this helps anyone who needed some tips getting this easy, but low % achieve ; )

Good luck!
