This is a Reshade Guide to play Monster Rancher 1 & 2 like on a real TV.
 
 

1) Download Reshade

First of all, go to Reshade Website – [reshade.me]  and download the app.
 
 

 
 
 

2) Start Installation

Click on “ReShade_Setup_4.x.x” and select the game:
 
 

 
 
 

3) Browse the game

Now, click “Browse” and select the game:
 
 

 
 

 
 
You may have a different directory for the game.
 
 
The steam default is: SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\mfdx\MF2
 
 
 

4) Select “OpenGL”

In the installer, check “OpenGL” box:
 
 

 
 
 

5) Download shaders

Check every shader in this step and press “OK”:
 
 

 
 
 

6) Finish installation

Close to finish the installation:
 
 

 
 
 

7) Reshade Configuration

Run the game and press “Home” to enter the Reshade configuration and press “Continue”:
 
 

 
 
 

8) Select filters

Select “SMAA” and “CRT_Lottes” filters and click “Continue”:
 
 

 
 
 

9) Finish configuration

You can change the defaults or otherwise, just click “Finish”:
