These assingments won’t give you any achievements or any rewards just a good feeling that you completed an amazing game 100% and of course a lot more content to enjoy.
UNC: Prothean Data Discs
This assignment is initiated upon the discovery of a Prothean data disc anywhere in the galaxy. There are ten discs in total, but only 7 must be collected to pass the assignment.
These discs are extremely fragile; intact discs are rare and usually found inside Prothean data recording devices. Scientists have not yet found a way to transcribe the information from these discs, but it is generally agreed that they are the most promising source of information on Prothean science and culture.
All of these can be found on planets across galaxy some will require you to land and some other just to Survey(scanning). The exact location for the planets you landing is not possible because it can be pretty random, but if if you explore and do other tasks from that planet you will find them and also most of them are marked on your map and also you won’t be able explore all planet just a limited segment like a box but even this box is pretty big :D.
UNC: Turian Insignias
This assignment appears in the Journal after the first insignia you discover. There are seventeen insignias in total, but only thirteen must be collected to complete the assignment.
Several turian outposts and colonies were destroyed during the Unification War. Each colony’s insignia also disappeared.
Also in order to get them you need to land or survey(scan) a planet.if you land you will have to a bit of exploring in order to find it also some of them are marked on your map but will be easy to get them as you might do other task on the planet you’ve just landed.
UNC: Valuable Minerals
This assignment appears in the Journal after the first mineral you survey.
To maintain its fleets and continue to expand, the Alliance must find new resources wherever it can. You’ve recently surveyed an important deposit and claimed it for the Alliance. There must be more like them in the Traverse.
These are the most challenging collectibles from the game because you won’t see them on the planet you landed and you will need explore and once you will be close to a mineral you will see an icon on your map like some rocks just go there and survey the mineral also some of planets will just need to be scanned in order to get the mineral and some mineral might appear on some asteroids(for find these asteroids just move your mouse in the cluster and you will find an unknow location(click on it and there is your asteroid)
After discovering all the required minerals indicated on the journal, you will receive the UNC: Survey is complete journal entry. The required minerals will be shown in your journal on this mission.Don’t worry you won’t need all even that in this guide are shown more just get the one you think is more suitable for you.
UNC: Locate Signs of Battle
This assignment will appear in your journal when you discover your first medallion or ID tag. The in-game Codex claims there are 12 League of One medallions and 4 salarian ID tags scattered throughout the systems, but it suffices for the assignment to find 10 League of One medallions and 3 salarian ID tags.
There are several League of One medallions and a few ID Tags scattered throughout these systems. The hunt must have been extensive and taken years.
Locations Medallions and ID Tags
UNC: Asari Writings
This assignment appears in the Journal after the first piece of asari writing is found. Though there are 16 total, only ten need to be found to complete the assignment.
Interstellar colonization sparked a golden age of learning and cultural advancement for the asari. During this time, the Matriarchs became obsessed with achieving ‘ultimate knowledge’. To that end, a small but dedicated group chose to leave Thessia hoping to find greater wisdom and true enlightenment.
Within a span of a few years, twenty-eight Matriarchs left Thessia with no destination in mind and no plan to return. Only six were ever heard from again. Of the other twenty-two, only Matriarch Dilinaga’s remains were discovered, along with several writings made during her journey.
The writings instantly became the subject of intense study and discussion. Hundreds of anthropologists and historians analyzed the writings and theorized on their meaning and importance to the asari race. For several generations, these writings were kept at Thessia Guildhall, the center for asari learning and research. Less than a century ago, these were finally made available to the public. Since arriving at the Farinah Museum, the Dilinaga exhibit has become one of most popular historical attractions on Thessia.
