Quick and easy way to cheese the boss in the last side case.

Intro:

Here’s the easiest way to beat the last side case if you are stuck. Amon, You’ll be awarded two achievements.

Things you’ll need:

To be ready, you’ll need:

– Energy Ball Extracts

Materials and at least one empty container to make the extracts

– Full EX bar

-Stuff to replenish your health and EX bars (not required but very helpful)

The Energy Ball recipe is easy to access on a PC.

Materials: You’ll need vessels and Mysterious Mushrooms. Eye of the Dragon is also required.

I was fed up by the end of the game. But here are some tips for those who might be missing something.

Mysterious Mushrooms: They can be purchased at Hero’s Harvest, Hamakita Park in Isezaki Ijincho.

Eye of the Dragon If you’re lucky, you’ll find a few in Le Chatte Blanche or Le Marche. Heaven’s Golf would reward you with one.

Empty Vessel: one per elixir. There are several places to find them. Two of the easiest are:

Onodera’s Wares Shop: offers one for 4800 SP

Yi Xing Tang: is selling one for 100.000 Yuen.

One vessel is sufficient as you can craft it even during a fight. Having more just makes things easier.

The Actual Fight

You need to drink the elixir immediately after the fight starts. Then, start spamming (or any button/key you’re using) as if your entire life depended upon it.

You’ll keep shooting energy balls, and Amon will be unable to attack.

You can use EX mode to prevent the stun/launch effects if he begins using attacks. If a beeping device is too close, simply run forward to try and avoid its blast.

After the elixir is gone, open the menu and craft/ drink another one before going back on spamming. However, Amon may even use a brief pause to spam. If this happens, you should try to dodge them before returning to spamming.

Rinse and continue until he’s gone.

There’s still a chance that something will happen. For example, on Simple difficulty, one Elixir could make him drop to the bottom of his health bar with no attacks. He might push a few more attacks in at other times and still be halfway. On Simple 2 or 3, depending on how your luck goes, Simple 2 to 3 Elixirs would suffice.

You will receive two achievements once he’s down. One for beating him and one for clearing all side cases. Congratulation!
