Library Of Ruina Guide to General Invitations

I will be discussing and mentioning A LOT of main plot and general guest receptions and their books, so if you only clicked on this guide to see how to receive X or Y general invitation guests head on to the sub-section of the guests you wish to receive. 
 
 

Introduction

 
What are General Invitations? 
 
They’re a special kind of invitation that is sent to less important guests that don’t impact the main storyline. 
 
General Invitation receptions can be received by manually registering any number of books into the three slots that are marked on the Invitation under the “Books of the Day” label. 
 
The number of the books you place into the slots aswell as classes of the placed books are important, in some cases the enemy varies with the amount of books you register into the slots (1 to 3). For example if you fill two or all three book slots on the Invitation you will get a different set of guests the more books you register onto the Invitation.

I will be going through each General Invitation difficulty/progress wise in order to keep track consistently, some of these guests can be received even by using end-game class books.

Important notice about invitation book slots

 
When registering a book into the Invitation there’s a possibility to activate a Main plot reception. However, it depends on whether or not you have already beaten the reception, if you did then the combinations you used will show the main story reception, same goes for general reception. 
 
Some of the books registered alone are necessary to access future main story receptions, instead you can change the book you placed into another one of the same or different class.

Below is the image that shows an unknown reception that you have yet to beat/encounter, if you get these question marks under the left side of the screen under “The Invitation” then you’re most likely on the right track with the general invitation unless you haven’t cleared out a main story reception that uses the same books of the day registry combination.
