  • Once you’re in town, make sure to stop by the trophy truck’s nearest station and leave Chainsaw.

  • Click the Sale Tag on the truck side window, next to Jimmy Junk [$400] at the Junkyard
  • Keep an eye out for these signs while you are still at the junkyard.

  • Cam Gear
  • Plug Wires
  • Fan Belt
  • Fan
  • [Air Filter-optional]

After you have searched the junkyard, return to your hometown and go to the gas station.

When you get back to the station, make sure you buy:

  • [4 x Beef-A-Reeno’s] [-$12]
  • [1 x 12-pack Beer Crate] [-$10]
  • [1 x 2 stroke fuel] [-$8]

[Total = -$20]

* If you left your Chainsaw near the race organiser earlier you can now collect it. Click on the (start button with [“E key]) to open the fuel cap. You can then refuel with the 2 stroke fuel purchased at the store by opening the fuel cap.

* To cut logs, go up the hill to a building with two skip containers. Place the logs into the left-side container and press the [“E”] keypad on the side to retrieve your payment. You can continue this process until you feel that you have enough money for the parts you need. The chainsaw should always be left in town with the event organizer for future use.

* Once you have bought the necessary parts (see above or below), you can purchase more food or beer. If you don’t remove the oil or coolant, the truck won’t need it.

* You have the option to continue exploring the map by car/foot for the remainder of your day or to go home with your supplies.

**Ideally, you will have all parts necessary to repair your truck and food (and water). To get the funds you need, you will likely need to cut at most two trees worth of logs.

More Tips

* By crouching [‘C”] and walking, you can “clip” another object (useful to find a loose bolt.) (caution* if your player stands up, the truck may be flipped and thrown through he air.

* To replenish your hydration, you can get water for free. There are two taps at the gas station. The one closest to your home is outside.

* The bars at the back of the truck act as sticky tape. Anything that is stuck inside them will stay in place. Many objects stacked like this will remain there even after they are removed.

* If your vehicle is stuck in an awkward position, you can use the truck’s jack or a beer pack to move it.

* There are hidden items on the map that can still be salvaged. For example, engines from vehicles are valued at $400 at the junkyard.

* Hidden challenges are available around the map. To activate them, enter the (challenge area. Hint: The junkyard) is the one that holds the challenge.
