This guide will explain how to complete the most (hidden) achievements in a single playing. Alternatively, or at the very least, with little save-load labor.

Prologue

You Had One Job…

– Do not make it past the prologue

Description: Disable the (or don’t build) in your Mess Hall.

Breaking Protocol

– Discover Outer Hope during Prologue

Description: Sending a probe to nearly directly East (but slightly South)Y of the Moon to find the Unauthorized Access location and complete events. (Although visiting is enough, the rewards of 30 Alloy are worth it in the early game.)

Help for the Forgotten member

– Apply the Naomi protocol 3 times

Description: You can also choose the Naomi option while at the achievement. This will make it count towards the achievement. (“Naomi Protocol – Create a temporary easement.”

Chapter 1

Access Granted

– Use the Oulixes body to access the Thianki

Description:

– Do NOT start the Neptune Event before you complete the Saturn Event.

Saturn choice: Make contact > Breakthrough the ice

– Neptune choice. Use Oulixes’ biometric information to open the sealed space

Help for the Forgotten member

– Apply the Naomi protocol 3 times

Description:

– Explore Uranus using a probe

Start the science event.

– Select the Naomi option. (“Naomi Protocol – Cut down the tree”)

Chapter 2

Better Him Than Me

– Replace Edden using the P.A. Protagoras

Description:

– After Chapter 2 – Protagoras main quest episode, select “Naomi protocol”. Save a copy Protagoras’ PA. option to achieve this later.

Help for the Forgotten member

– Apply the Naomi protocol 3 times

Description:

– You can also choose the Naomi option while you are at the achievement. This will make it count towards the achievement. (“Naomi Protocol”, Save a Copy of the Protagoras’ PA.)

– Choose Naomi during the main quest event Man, the Measure of all Things

— At this point your 3 times should be completed, but you may still need to make some redundancies.

— Science Event MackR: (“Thaw Ice”. -> “Naomi Protocol – Send a team”)

— Science Event Tatra 8: (“Naomi Protocol”. Interrogate P.A.)

Necessary Enhancement

Exoskeletons can be used to ensure crew members do not die on Fargo 39

Description:

– Before you begin the Fargo 39 science events, have researched Exoskeletons upgrade under Science Ship.

– Choose the appropriate option during an event. (“Deploy your entire crew in reinforced exoskeletons.”)

Guy de Borderlands

– Entertainment for your crew members

Description: While this is not Chapter 2 specific, it is probably the best time.

– Start an Alternative Life Center as soon and it will eventually pop up on its own.

Chapter 3

Man’s Best Friend

– Adopt the Borzoi

Description: Explore Collapsed food District and complete the events using these options: Investigate Animal Pens.

Mutual Loyalty

– The Borzoi survives on the journey

Description:

The P.A. contacted you shortly after your Dog was adopted. The P.A. will ask whether you want to remove the dog for health reasons or keep them.

– Keep it up and you will be awarded the achievement after you have completed the game.

Help for the Forgotten member

– Apply the Naomi protocol 3 times

Description: You can also choose the Naomi option while at the achievement. This will make it count towards the achievement. (“Naomi Protocol – Create a temporary easement”

– Your 3 times should be done at this point. However, you may still need to redundancy.

– Science Event Collapsed Food District : (“Investigate Animal Pens > Naomi Protocol”)

Oats

Free ZY6073

Description:

– Explore the Medical District Wreckage using a probe

– Do a manual save. Your entire crew will be killed, and you will only be able to retrieve ZY6073 from your science ship.

Start the science event.

– Select Investigate The Research Facility -> Retrieve ZY6073.

– You will need to earn the achievement. After you have loaded your save, you can choose a safer option or go home.

Chapter 4

Tiqqun Contender

– Tiqqun member can create a rap song about Administrator

Description: While this is not Chapter 4 specific, it is the best time for it to be done in is early/mid Chapter 4.

– In a sector that has Waste policy on, fill two small stockpiles up with Waste and wait until the protest event pops.

Avoiding Catastrophe

– Kill the Piranesi, before it destroys a world

Description: Although this Chapter 5 achievement is important, it is worth paying attention to how well you are prepared for Chapter 4.

– After late Chapter 4, you will feel a constant rush. You won’t be able to reestablish large supply lines or achieve this achievement simultaneously.

– Install one to two additional EVA airlocks for repairs.

Stock up on at minimum 1200 Alloy.

Depending on the ending, you will need 600 Colonists available to depart or 500 Polymer.

Chapter 5

There are two possible endings here and it is difficult and rushy to achieve this, so save manually right at the beginning.

Avoiding Catastrophe

– Kill the Piranesi, before it destroys a world

Description:

– You can choose either Romulus) or (Remus as your ending, but you must complete the game before Piranesi reaches Remus to destroy it.

– You need 1000 tiles covered in Tiqqun with (batteries of any size.

Tip: If you are low on Main Quest, you can have them back. However, you will need 1000 cells at any one time.

Remus will end when you build a new building and a 10-cycle process.

– You will need 600 colonists available to leave Remulus.

We Trust Genetic Conatus

– Complete the game by following the path set forth by Genetic Conatus

Description:

– Visit Remus.

Meet the Ashtangites.

– Research and construct their new building.

– Do not listen to Edden claiming Romulus is a planet and Edden is a liar.

– Take your whole team (10 cycles and) and complete the game.

Tiqqun Unchained

– Get out of DOLOS and finish the game

Description:

– Don’t start the Remus Event. Park at it, and collect the science.

– Send a probe to the star West, find Remulus, then send a Science Ship.

– The P.A. The P.A.

– After a while, you will receive two different communications: events in Tiqqun.

– Your P.A. will be disabled after these events. Edden will now be able to interact directly with Remulus.

To achieve this achievement, follow the Remulus lines.

Better Him Than Me

– Replace Edden using the P.A. Protagoras

Description:

– Remember, we copied the Protagoras’ P.A. in Chapter 2?

– If you are asked to fly Tiqqun into Piranesi, at the end, choose the “Replace Edden With Protagoras’ AI” option.

Summary

These events will eventually result in your P.A. being disabled. Edden will now be able to interact directly with Remulus.

Path A & A

– If you are asked to fly Tiqqun into Piranesi, choose the “Replace Edden With Protagoras’ AI” option at the very end.

Work in Progress

The remaining 3 hidden achievements are ones I have not yet figured out and could not find any information about. They could be a), WIP, well hidden, or c) intimately connected to one another somehow.

What They Keep from Us

Discover the remains of the Genetic Facility

– Chapter: Unknown

I tried to find the locations, rather than going for “the obvious objective” (. Chapter 5 spoilers) is too long. But no luck. (Surprise! Those choices all endanger the ship and kill all of the crew!)

Delivery!

– Find out every upgrade for the Drone Bay

– Chapter: 4+

I have tried every upgrade for Drone Bay. It did not unlock. This could be bugged. Or we might have to have found a Science Ship option type of hidden upgrade.

Beyond Time and Space

– End the chain of events about the strange spheres

– Chapter: Unknown. Most likely 2+

No further information or achievements have been provided. It is believed to have started with Rockatansky D79sphere. This sphere needs Science Ship Deep Dive Apparatus upgrades to be fully completed. But, I don’t have any confirmation.
