Hunt: Showdown How To Use Bomb Lance Tips

~Loadout Options~

We’ll start with the loadout. Lance is the best melee weapon that is currently in the game. It has the longest attack range as well as an option to shoot explosives. By reading that you may have already realised that we’d need some range to make our loadout effective almost in every possible situation. For that we’ll choose the Uppercut! It’s the only pistol that uses long ammo. It’ll make you a monster in close range and a killer for range! As for the consumables. Remember to take at least one Stamina Shot to make you smack your enemies endlessly without getting tired! 
Tip: If you haven’t unlocked the Uppercut yet, you can also use Caldwell Pax. 
It’s easier to unlock and relatively good as the secondary! 

~Traits~

There are two traits that are useful for every melee weapon players! 
The first one is Determination. It makes your stamina recovery start sooner. It’s useful in general because when you melee you deplete your stamina really fast and it’s always helpful to have 
a perk that makes it return faster. The second one is called Silent Killer. When acquired you make no sound while holding or performing melee attacks. it’s really useful to take out your enemies by surprise when they can’t hear you switching your weapon to lance and rushing them! 

~Being Stylish~

Of course you can play Bomb Lance on every single hunter with anything you choose to! 
On the other hand if you want to show other hunters that you are a real threat and make them feel fear inside their whole body, you are going to want to dress up nicely! For that you’ll be required to get the Bone Doctor hunter skin which will give you a lot of camouflage and make you look scary and powerful at the same time! It comes in a bundle and buying it is totally optional!

For the Bomb Lance skin I’d choose “The Shrike.” It’s the latest skin that has been added to the game with “As the Crow Flies” event. It’ll require you to grind some points for it but oh man it’s worth it! As for the Uppercut I’d recommend you choose the “Death’s Prayer” skin for 500 Blood Bonds. You get this amount of Blood Bonds either by playing the game or you can get them with the package of the Bone Doctor DLC. It’s red, black and white which makes it go pretty well with the Lance. For consumables and other things it’s totally up to you. Depends on what you find interesting. Personally I enjoy taking “The Marrow” medkit skin and “The Claw” throwing knifes skin. They give a lot of atmosphere that we’ll try to achieve by choosing this loadout! 
If you have missed “As the Crow Flies” event, then you’ll have to choose other stuff! 

~Chad or Rat~

Once you get into the game you’ll have to choose your playstyle. You either become a chad 
or a rat! Let me explain to you what that really means! 

~Chad~

 
In this option you’d go run and gun! You don’t give a ♥♥♥♥ about staying silent. You blow up every meathead that gets into your way, scare all the crows because who gives a ♥♥♥♥. 
At the end you are confident with your loadout and you know that whatever is about to happen, you’ll face the consequences of making noise and come out victorious in every fight you will be a part of! 

~Rat~

 
On the other hand you can go completely silent and wait for the enemy hunters near clues 
or around the boss area.Hiding in a bush near a bridge is an option either. You are going 
to approach them silently and stab them in the back or if you’re confident with your skills shoot them and make them go boom boom! 

~Conclusion~

Bomb Lance is one of my favourite weapons to play with! 
You can either go rush others or approach them silently and make them fear you! It doesn’t really matter what loadout you choose and in which way you are gonna play it as long as you have fun with it! Remember to rush them and make them scream though!
