How to Safeguard Your Game Files First

First thing’s first, don’t rush! Close your game. Let’s create a quick backup of your precious game save files. They’re like your gaming memories; you don’t want to lose them. Just head over to that secret stash where they’re saved. Missing these files? Ah, bummer! This guide might not be the hero you need right now. Remember, your game’s story is in these files, and the ‘date modified’ is the chapter you’re on.

Turning Off That Cloud Save Feature

Now, reopen your game, and let’s tweak some settings. Head over to Options, then Settings, shuffle a bit to Network, and find Remote Storage. Turn it to “NO”, and shut the game. We’re making sure the cloud doesn’t rain on our parade by overwriting your stuff.
