Before you start tinkering with the game’s matrix, let’s put a safety net under your gaming tightrope. Always, and I mean, always back up your game progress. It’s like having insurance for your digital adventures. Need help finding where these precious save files are tucked away? A swift search on your computer for “C:\Users\[Name]\Saved Games\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077\”.

Where to Grab the Save-Editing Magic Wand

First things first, arm yourself with PixelRick’s Save-Editing Tool. It’s your magic wand, available for the grand price of free, right on GitHub. Although it’s not dressed up for the 2.0 version, it still dances perfectly to the tunes of your editing needs.

Your Map to Save-Editing

Step 1: Unpack the Treasure

Unzip the tool’s folder.

Step 2: Fire Up the Editor

Find and open that shiny save-editor.exe file. It’s the gateway to de-glitching!

Step 3: Open Your Savefile

Tap on “Open savefile,” it’s like turning the key to your personal Cyberpunk diary.

Step 4: Pick Your Savefile

Select and open the save.dat file within your chosen savefile, unveiling the canvas where you’ll paint your edits.

Step 5: Shrug Off Errors

Stumble upon any error messages? Just shake them off and keep moving.

Step 6: Dive Deeper

Click “Advanced”. This unveils a treasure trove of options to play with.

Step 7: Find Your Digital Self

Under “God Mode”, expand and sift through the IDs until you find the one ending with ‘1’. That’s you in the matrix!

Step 8: Details, Details

Open up the details under your player character. Get ready for the transformation!

Step 9: Bid Adieu to Invincibility

Delete the “Invulnerable” entry. And just like that, you’re back in the game, living on the edge!

Step 10: Save the Magic

Having Trouble Finding Your Character?

Locate your character in the Save-Editor:

• Navigate to “Advanced Tab” and scroll down to “Stats Pool”.
• Expand “view value” for “statsPool” and peek inside.
• Find your character by expanding “ownerID” until “0000000000000001” appears or match “maxValue” with your health.
• If you can’t lose more than 25% health due to “customLimitValue” set at 25, knock that value below 0.
• Save and see if your character can taste the thrill of danger again in the game.
