From armies of internet-club Chinese players running around screaming, griefers and PVP warriors worrying about their K/D ratios, to the fundamental core essence of GTA 5’s online branch at the face of grindy and convoluted mechanics, slow or infinite loadings, constant encounters with cheaters is just a one nail in the pie, each element of the game just begs to get exploited, as gamedesign was the least of their priorities, with revenue being at the very top. GTA Online is a free addition to GTA 5, therefore enjoy your experience with the constant popups and advertisement phone calls. So far no effective solutions to counter cheaters have ever been introduced to the game.
 
 
Tired of getting bullied, run over by pedestrians, shot at, exploded and griefed on by cheaters or simply bored of the game’s tediousness? Have you looked at those with the mod-menus and wondered how they do it, where do they get all this stuff and how can I be just like them, but have no previous experience at cheating and don’t know where to look? Look no further.
 
 
This is an actual guide on how to gain advantage over other players and enable a vast range of gameplay opportunities that are not available in the base game, the ones that are allowing the player to bypass certain set restrictions to ultimately have more control over the game, achieved by verified third-party modifications widely used by hundreds thousands of players.
 
 
With no handholding, in the world with no direction or a coherent storyline, unexperienced player would easily lose himself or be a subject of continuous annihilation. What is the safest way and how can I make sure it is safe?

External cheat works outside of the game’s process, therefore, for most anticheats, this is their weak spot. In Rockstar’s case, their anticheat completely ignores the presence of such a program running on the background, their anticheat targets only specific algorithms, if intruded, will get a ban chance higher, even then, too low for it to be significant or even possible to get banned if the user knows what he’s doing. Regardless of how public the external cheat is, Rockstar are refusing to introduce any countermeasures manually, while the anticheat is simply unable to detect such a cheat. Basically, they simply don’t care. External cheats named on this guide are easy to use and no additional software is required. An external cheat is weaker that internal in terms of functions, but unlike internal, it is completely safe, undetected and still offers you all function for your needs, even griefing ones.
 
 
 

Where do I get such a cheat?

If you want to cheat, first it is important to figure out on where to get your tools. Don’t just google looking for cheat on the internet and press on the very first link and don’t pay attention to these YouTube videos that serve as clickbait, as most of them would just give you all kinds of malware and viruses. It is important to know on where to look and you’ve got to make sure it is trustworthy.
 
 

 
 
Despite being a very public site, unlike most of the other developers that get the cheats posted on that site banned, Rockstar don’t seem to be aware of it’s existence, even if they are, they don’t seem to have any care to improve their anticheat system either way. «UnKnoWnCheaTs» is one of the most popular sites that offers completely free and clean cheats for everybody to use. That community exists since 2000. Most if not all programs uploaded to the site have no viruses whatsoever, as each one that is being uploaded is monitored, checked and scanned by the site’s moderators. A file, that is being uploaded must meet their strict standards, if they don’t, even the safest cheats might not find their way to the site, so you can’t just upload whatever you want. Certain cheat makers have made a name for themselves and there is one external cheat that needs attention if you’ve made your decision. In order to get a cheat, first, you must go through a registration procedure, as this is the site you’ll be getting your cheats from for GTA Online. Unknowncheats cheats are known cheats.
 
 

 
 
This cheat, right here, was used by over half a million players in the userbase over the years, so far the amount of people banned is extremely low. Most people that do get banned, simply lose their patience and use detected functions. It’s less of a question of cheat abusing, more of what functions you’re actually using. As for me, I was using that cheat, along with the other software that I will name later for over a year. If you did get a free Epic store GTA 5 version back in the day at a giveaway, I would normally suggest you’d use a second account, but seeing how ineffective their anticheat system proved to be, you might aswell use it on your main. Getting banned should be the least of your worries, as the cheat is completely undetected. Only the algorithms, anti-abuse systems developed by Rockstar might catch you, even then, only barely. The game anticheat takes no screenshots and is completely unaware of an external software running.
 
 
 

Tutorial on how to use the cheat

Make sure to familiarize yourself with the cheat on the site. If you’re willing to use it and have an account registered – feel free to download the cheat. Don’t launch the cheat until you’re in the game. Proceed to launching the game and change the Fullscreen mode in the game’s settings to Windowed Borderless. Because the cheat is external, you wouldn’t be able to see it having Fullscreen enabled, you must view the game as if you’re viewing a desktop. As for me, first thing I do is join singleplayer story mode, from there, I launch the exe.
 
 

 
 
When you’ve launched the cheat, you’ll observe the cheat menu. This is where you have to navigate, though I would recommend to not change or use any functions before you join the Online mode. First thing you’ll have to do to get accustomed to the cheat, is to use numpads to navigate around it’s functions. Numpad 5, the middle numpad button opens a tab of a function you’ve picked and then, by pressing the same button again – it applies or disables the function. To test if it’s working right, let’s create an invite-only session. Press Game and create an Invite-only, closed or friends-only session as seen on this picture. It is recommended to launch a closed off from other players session in the first days of your cheating, that would allow for more time to get used to it and configure the functions.
 
 

 
 
 

How to avoid getting banned

Before you use any function, be aware of the exclamation marks nears some of the functions.
 
If you see such an exclamation mark, don’t use these functions, it indicates that these functions might be detected in the game itself, not specifically cheat related. Use these functions only if you’re too desperate.
 
 

 
 
Let’s go over the functions that most people, reportedly, get banned for. There is a data collection thread where cheaters, banned, post information of what functions they’ve used.
 
 

 
 
Typical. This one used «Forge Model» function. If you want to cheat, avoid car modification functions at all cost, so the functions that change the speed of a vehicle and so on. Functions that modify vehicle stats are constantly proving to be unsafe to use, judging by how many people got banned for it specifically. There are also other functions that are detected, as one would probably guess, the ones related to the casino.
 
 

 
 
If you’re willing to cheat – never use casino rigging functions, avoid this money making option completely, as the game easily detects if the casino is being exploited. This is one of the only instances of Rockstar’s algorithm check systems in place. Another tip would be to avoid «Set Level» function, instead, you should rely on «RP Multiplier», that function is completely safe. You can increase XP gained and gain levels very quickly that way. Tested on multiple author’s accounts and it’s safe. You still have to play the game and put in at least some amount of work.
 
 
Another tip would be, every time you open up the cheat, proceed to «Online Protections» and tick every box in that tab. This menu protects you from some forms of cheaters, but not all. Report protection also, though report system itself in the actual game is nearly completely useless.
 
 

 
 
There is a misconception going around that griefing with cheats gets you banned. That is completely false and griefing is in no way detected by the game’s algorithm. You’re free to use invincibility mode, teleport around as much as you want and kill as many players as you want. There is absolutely no check in the game for that and reports are useless. That was tested by me for over a year. However, there is a bit you should consider. Attempt to limit yourself from using teleportation functions in missions as much as possible, certain missions are possible to complete only under a specific time frame, teleporting yourself, touching triggers or completing missions too fast might anger a hammer to crush down on you. Also, don’t forget to use «Suicide» option once in a while, the game knows if you’ve been alive for suspiciously long. This is very important.
 
 
If you’re not experienced, don’t use any other cheats that aren’t listed here. That way you’ll limit a possibility of you getting banned, even if it’s too low. Apart from the functions marked under exclamation signs and the ones I’ve referenced before most of the functions are completely safe to use, but one shouldn’t abuse money making options too much. There is an easier way, in combination with the «Kiddion’s Modest Menu» that allows you to get cash without risking any ban at all. It needs effort, some skill, but it’s very useful, easy and safe for what it is.
 
 
 

Making money with the menu, the best way

 
 
«Cayo Perico», otherwise known as island is a place where money happen. Without cheats, there is a way to glitch a heist finale by disabling your internet connection at the right time, to then replay the same heist again. By playing this solo heist, if you have enough skill, you can easily get millions in just 3-4 minutes by completing the same heist again and again. Glitchers kept practicing it for a long time, however, there is a way to glitch a heist finale without making yourself run to another room to unplug some cable, or do physical activity at all. This is what you have to do to glitch a finale using this cheat. Keep in mind, this is a very easy way to make loads of millions in a short amount of time without actually cheating money and risking a ban. You can do it without breaks, as much as you want. Everything is very simple and without any further details, let’s cut to the chase.
 
 
First, before you actually play the heist, get your mod menu function ready. Head on to «Online Services», leave your choice on «Disconnect Session», press F5 to hide the menu so that it saves your current function position and you won’t have to come back and do that again or simply keep the menu open when you actually play the heist. Be aware, you have to complete the entire heist once without glitching it, so that the long cutscene featuring Madrazo’s son of non-traditional orientation would finally end. Replaying this heist the second time and onwards will show you a much shorter cutscene, this is where you have to glitch the heist, to replay it once again.
 
 

 
 
When the cutscene just starts, have your «Disconnect Session» function ready, but don’t use it yet, just wait and observe very carefully. As soon as you see that «Transaction Pending» in the bottom right corner, that ridiculous hyperactive circle running around – use the function instantly. The faster you are, the higher the chance of having the finale saved and the transaction triggering properly, so that you can still get all the money. This is the best way in combination with the vulnerability of the heist and a function prepared and ready in the actual cheat to gain tons of money without having to disable the internet. Of course, there are other ways, like using bunker options, but that’s there only for the unskilled. Failed? Too bad. Redo it again, you sad sack. Don’t expect to gain money in the game with no skill, otherwise, what is the point of playing anyway? Even having the mod menu, you still must have some amount of skill.
 
 

 
 
 

Other functions

There are other functions that enhance gameplay of the game. For example, tired of watching a cutscene? You can just skip it.
 
 
Be careful and don’t skip cutscenes in the missions if you have other players with you. Cutscene will keep on going for other players and you’ll just get softlocked, that’s why you must do that when you’re alone. Disabling a cutscene is client-sided, so are many other functions.
 
 
A wide array of choices in «Online Services» mostly serve as a shortcut to avoid certain cooldowns, to call a specific vehicle or even hide off radar through «Ghost Organization» for one hour.
 
 

 
 
Teleport functions let you decide on where to teleport, even to players if you choose to do so. It also serves as a shortcut for collectibles.
 
 

 
 
In tunables you’ll be able to remove cooldowns and use RP multiplier, the one for character levels, AP is for Arena War.
 
 

 
 
Changing weather is client-sided, the weather script would trigger just for you.
 
 

 
 
 

How to grief other players? Part 1 – Lua

Certain cheats support Lua scripts, think of them as mods for an already existing cheat coded by other users. «Kiddion’s Modest Menu» is one of them. Scripts extend the capabilities of a mod menu beyond already existing functions. One of them allows you to explode any player in the session at any time, if possible. As you can see, the creator of a griefing script insists you don’t grief other players with it. Doesn’t make much sense, does it? Ignore that delusion and proceed to installing the actual script.
 
 
1. Proceed to the folder where your mod menu files are located and open the «scripts» folder at that same folder.
 
 

 
 
2. Leave only one random script present in the folder, delete the rest.
 
 

 
 

 
 
3. Open that script as a text file.
 
 

 
 

 
 
4. Open the thread where the script code is, that link above and press «Show Spoiler» button.
 
 

 
 
5. Simply copy everything you see in that spoiler and replace the last lua script you haven’t deleted with the code you copied. Close and save.

For now ignore them and test the script you have to get an idea on how to explode other players. Launch your GTA 5 and open the menu.
 
 
Now you should see that you have new functions available in the «Scripts» tab. To test if your script works, open the menu, press Game and choose «SCTV» session. This is a spectator mode that allows you to watch other players.
 
 

 
 

 
 
Each and every time you switch an online session, even the very first time you launch Online, proceed to… and press «Reload Scripts». You shouldn’t forget to constantly reload your script, so that the new information about players and the new players that have recently joined pops up.
 
 

 
 
Now that you’re in the spectator mode and you have reloaded your script, choose any player of your liking and simply keep on pressing «Explode player» function. If it works, you’ve done everything correctly and the fate of other players is in your hands.
 
 
 

How to grief other players? Part 2 – Stalking

Hate someone or getting bullied? This is your time to strike back.
 
 
Let’s teach you on how to follow literally any player in the game you want and explode them as much as you want, whether they’re in the mission or in a public session. The only way they’ll hide is by sitting in some property or leaving to a more restricted session.
 
 
Accustom yourself with another external program, the one that is entirely safe and undetected. Even though it was used by just 1100+ players, it has no ban track record, as it doesn’t modify any stats and the like within the game.

As always, unpack the file, launch Online and test if it works.
 
 
1. Have the program opened.
 
 

 
 
2. Check if there are any players in your session. If there are, press «Log Players». That will save their nicknames, IDs and mugshots of their characters.
 
 

 
 
3. Leave the session and wait until you load into another one.
 
 
4. Now press the “Set to Join” button on any player you want to join, the notification with the instructions should now pop-up.
 
 

 
 
5. The «Suggested Crews» now might display an error, this is a Rockstar issue since the last update, which is why you should open Crews – Friends’ Crews – View Members – Join Game. If you don’t have friends, open the Leaderboard and press «Join Game» on other crews instead.
 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 
Regardless of the player you choose, if you have an «RID Set» on your target, it will now join that player instead. Then, when you’re in the session with him again, keep exploding your victim. If you’re unable to join the session with the player you’ve set the mark on, then he’s Offline. It is also recommended you don’t use «Favorites» function, it sometimes doesn’t let you join a player in question. The best way to explode your victim is through a spectator option – SCTV.
 
 
When in SCTV, a spectator mode, press P to open Pause menu. Joining your victim through Crews will now get you to his session in spectator mode, if you were there to begin with.
 
 
 

How to grief other players? Part 3 – Find ID of your victim manually

If the player you want to join was never with you in the session and you want to grief someone else and want him to show up in the program, you have to learn how to determine the Rockstar player ID manually.
 
 
1. Open the Social Club page of your victim.
 
 

 
 
2. Right click on any blank spot on the page and press «Inspect».
 
 

 
 
3. Press «Network».
 
 

 
 
4. Press CTRL+R.
 
 

 
 
5. Press the «getprofile» button.
 
 

 
 
6. Scroll the slider to find his «rockstarID», don’t confuse it with «viewerRockstarID»
 
 

 
 
Now you have to add the Rockstar ID of your victim into the actual program.
 
 
1. Open the folder with the program’s contents.
 
 
2. Open «players» text file.
 
 

 
 
3. Copy any example of any player you’ve logged an RID of and paste it again.
 
 

 
 
4. Replace his nickname with your victim’s, do the same with the RID.
 
 

 
 
5. Now open up the program and you should have the nickname and the mugshot of your victim visible.

Other external programs and how to use them

GTAHaX is also, extremely popular. It isn’t a simple mod menu, it is a variable and stat editor. If you have a code for a stat or a variable, you’ll be able to edit the game stat in the program by having both applications running. For example, you’re able to edit the heist target and have the best one available with all the objectives.
 
 

 
 
In order to do that have the latest version of GTAHaX installed. Older versions never work. Now simply read an already pre-written tutorial, I don’t need to sugar coat what has been done a long time ago. Testing that function, in practice, would teach you how to use it.

There’s also a way to edit the K/D ratio and character levels. As you can see, on this account I have a high modded K/D ratio.
 
 

 
 
To do that, all you have to do is to edit existing stats, copy these codes and one at a time insert them into the «Stat editor» bar:

You can change the values yourself in correlation to the K/D ratio you’re aiming for. After that, simply press «Change stat».

If you’re using a character that’s in the second slot, use MP1 instead of MP0. Both MP0 and MP1 relate to your character slot.

A program that’s almost like GTAHaX, only this one edits your clothing. Certain clothes, set combinations aren’t normally available in the game, so it is possible to edit clothes to your liking.

Be aware, at most it is necessary to avoid newer cheats, in this instance, the very first on the list, as mostly they’re internal and not so undetected as it seems. It is very important that you don’t use that menu if you don’t want to risk getting banned. Most cheats are detected by the game, even if you don’t use any functions, which is not the case with the external ones.
