To make any PC, you will need parts. For a game such as Garry’s Mod, you will need high-end components.
CPU: You will want an AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro 3995WX (64 Cores, 128 Threads) or the Intel equivalent, if Intel makes such a thing.
RAM: I recommend at least 64 GB, although Garry’s Mod performs best with at least 128 GB.
Storage: Dual 2 TB solid state drives should suffice for the game itself, but you might also want a few 10,500 RPM hard drives for your mods.
Graphics: You will need a Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 (Supports 8K resolution, Ray Tracing, DLSS AI Rendering) or an AMD Radeon Pro with similar specs.
Optical Drive: You need one. You don’t think you do, but you definitely will need one.
TV Tuner Card: Hauppauge WinTV-quadHD Four-head tuner (You never think you need one until it is too late)
Power Supply: In most cases, a 2,500 Watt Gold Certified PSU should work.
Motherboard and Case: Whatever motherboard supports these components. Same thing with the case.
Lay out the parts in a square or dodecahedron shaped design. Assemble the parts according to a random YouTube guide.
Tip 1: Apply the sour cream in short, swift strokes to the load-bearing tongue wafers.
Tip 2: Make sure the swizzle sticks are fully attached to the muffler knobs, or else serious injury can occur (They look harmless, but have you ever had a finger amputated?)
Tip 3: Do not lick the Flux-Capacitator strudel makers, or the screws may come loose.
Tip 4: Use only washable markers on the Beebler-O-Matic to prevent staining.
Install Netscape Navigator for web browsing, Lotus 1-2-3 and ClarisWorks 5 for office work, and there you have it, you’ve built a PC capable of running Garry’s Mod. With luck, it shouldn’t be obsolete for 3 and a half days!
