This simple guide will show how to install Hammer++ on Garry's Mod.
 

Multiplayer Download Source SDK Bas 2013

Source SDK Base 2013Multiplayer is required. It is free.
 
If I recall byDefault, it will not be visible in your library by default. You will need to filter it so it is visible in your Tools.
 
 
You will see a dropdown under Home. Click it and then check Tools. Source SDK should now appear. Click it to download it.
 
 

 
 
 

Downloading the installer

Use the installer

Open the installer, and then enter the paths to your Garry’s Mod and Source SDK Base 2013. Multiplayer installs. Once you have done that, click Install. When prompted, click OK. Do not close this installer. You will need it for the next steps.
 
 
 

Configure

We aren't finished yet. You will still need to configure it. Close Hammer++ once you have opened it. Once the installer is open, click configure. Once the installer is open, click configure.
 
 
 

Important Read Me

Now you have Hammer++ installed for Garry's mod. It is important to remember that Expert mode will not work if you are trying to run your map.
 
 

 
 
 

Additional game content to mount

You can use assets from Source Engine games, such as Counter-Strike Source, but you must edit Source SDK Base 2013’s gameinfo.txt. Go to Whatever Drive it may be :\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Source SDK Base 2013 Multiplayer\hl2 and open gameinfo.txt with a text editor of your choice.

Let's suppose you want to mount Counter-Strike, Source. First, you must own the game. It should be installed. Then, in a new text file, indicate where it is to be installed.
