Few tips for finding the items.

Items with a lock instead of a spiral need to be unlocked before finding them.
 
 
Unlocking occurs by doing the achievements and doing the challenges under the challenge section.
 
 
There sseem to be three item pools:
 
 
1. Basic pool found at the merchant chests and town shops. (Town shops can be used to find a more specific item.)
 
2. Curse pool found i curse chests. (The night feather helps as it turns all items into curse items)
 
3. Skull pool found in skull chests. (They start spawning once you have a certain amount of skulls collected)
 
 
Most items overlap multiple pools. Some are exclusive to their pool.
 
 
The Merchant token allows you to reroll all shops but the skull chest.
 
 
The scroll helps you find rarer items.
 
 
There are a few character specific items. They are only wielded by certain characters and can not be found by others.
 
 
Collection can be expanded in journey mode, so you can just turn everything down to easy and take Anubis 2 or any other char you are comfortable with.
