Please note that this guide is presented as if you're playing solo, as that's how I played the game. A lot of the achievements and strategies may be much easier with more players.

 
 
 

Achievements

 

I will survive!
Complete the main mission without dying

 
You can banish an entity by simply doing so without dying. This will become easier as you improve your skills, but you can still do it quickly by playing the Asylum for Easy.
 
 

 

Who you gonna call?
Dazzle an entity 20 times with a lightstick

 
For a few seconds, a glow stick will stun an entity if it is thrown at them. You only need to do it 20 times. This will come as a natural result of your efforts to achieve other achievements.
 
 

 

Here's Johnny!
Unlock all doors in one exploration

 
This is easiest to do on the Asylum Map, since it's the smallest. Refer to your map to see which rooms have been opened or closed.
 
 

 

The question is not who I am but where I am
Start an exploration once with all characters

 
Start a match with all four characters. You can change the character you play by going to the Equipment tab on the main menu.
 
 

 

Leave together
Leave an exploration by the quit zone with the whole squad alive

 
You must exit via Exit with all players alive. This is easy to do solo. Simply wait until the Exit unlocks. Then, you can immediately leave.
 
 

 

8 minutes
Complete the relic task in less than 8 minutes

 
You must banish an entity within 8 minutes. You can play Asylum on Easy. 8 minutes is a short window even if you have the time. It is highly recommended that you are familiar with the map before you attempt this. To find key items faster, you can also use a Compass.
 
 

 

In the rush
Run more than 5 minutes in an exploration

 
I'm not sure if this is for running 5 minute in a single video game or 5 minutes together. This was unlocked very early in my 2nd run. This is a good thing. If not, you can load up Suburbs or School on Easy to run laps.
 
 

 

The exorcist
Complete 10 times the main mission

 
You must banish at least 10 entities. As you work towards levelling-up, completing Hard mode and other goals, this will become second nature.

Score a Basket in the School Map

 
An outside courtyard is located on the bottom floor. This is typically located in the middle of a map. You can find a basketball outside, and then throw it in a hoop near the corner.
 
 

 

Novice
Unlock your first skill

 

 

Master
Unlock a 20 points skill

 
To unlock a skill worth 20 points, you will need to be at least 20. Unless you have a very good understanding of lore pages, it is likely that you will reach level 20 while grinding them. If you still require XP, you can play on harder difficulties and complete all the objectives. If you have points in other perks you can simply unequip them to get your points back.
 
 

 

Can't touch this!
Complete the main mission without picking up any loot or equipment

 
Possibly bugged! Having loaded into a match without any items equipped and banished an entities only picking up keys or relics, I have not yet achieved the achievement. I didn't grab any loot items, equipment items, glowsticks, med kit, code pages, or lore pages.
 
 
It is possible that this is a glitch. Please let me be notified if anyone has legitimately earned this.

Complete one bestiary page

 

 

Curiosity killed the cat
Complete all the bestiary

 
Possibly bugged! Having done over 100+ resets in (, and roughly 4 hours in), I have yet to find Reaper Lore 2. It's the only page that I haven't found in the 14 hours I've been playing the game.
 
 
You will need the following to complete the Bestiary:
 
 

• All 3 individual pages of lore for each of the 5 entities.
• Banish all entities on a minimum of Hard difficulty
• A photo of each of the 5 entities.

 
 
You can only have one lore page per run, depending upon the entity you have. A lore page that you don’t have is not guaranteed to spawn, and it’s entirely random.
 
 
Hard mode only has 2 glowsticks. Speed, intelligence, aggression, damage, and other characteristics of each entity are the same as Normal. If you're confident enough in the difficulty, this should not prove to be too difficult. I think the Asylum map is my favorite map. The School is also very straightforward, but it's large and there seems a bug where key items might not spawn.
 
 

• If the entity is within range of your flashlight, you should turn it off. You can also hide behind cover or find a hiding spot.
• The Presence Detector can detect the presence of Entities very quickly. It will show you how close the Entity is in proximity to you. I always had a Crowbar and Presence Detector for my Hard runs. You can also upgrade your camera to stun the Entity once a game.
• Your glowsticks should be kept safe and ready for use when you need them. You can hide in loops or use hiding spots to stay alive. You can also use looping or hiding spots to escape. There's plenty of stock on the maps.
• Always keep at minimum one glowstick with your at all times.
• I cannot be certain but I noticed that the entities became more aggressive as I had more artifacts. Once I had all three artifacts, I booked it to my ritual site and completed the mission.
