This guide is not intended to give you a single way to level up a flat farm faster, but to give you some tips to help with the process.
 
Unfortunately, much of the success will depend on having some event items that provide the necessary advantages.
 
As far as possible, this guide will be improved and complemented.

General recommendations up to level 10

I’ve just created the farm. What do I do first?
 
 
Right after creating the farm, it’s interesting to place 2 wells to give you some coins.
 
It is also nice to plant some apple trees because it bears fruit in all seasons. There is very little money, so try not to spend too much on trees early in the game.
 
 
Try to balance your expenses with the quests that the game asks you to perform, which will give you pink ribbons (which is very interesting) and xp.
 
 
The idea here is to upgrade your farm as quickly as possible, saving money and investing in what can give you the biggest yield possible.
 
 
If you want to be more active at the beginning, lettuce is your best try to make money.
 
 
UPGRADE THE FARM. WHAT TO INVEST IN?
 
 
While your farm level is low, buy animals only when some quest asks you to do so, that’s because the animals are very hungry, otherwise, you’ll have to spend all your money to feed them and won’t have money to invest in your farm for it to level up faster.
 
 
If the farm already comes with animals, feed them only when a quest asks you to do so. Until then, better invest.
 
 
I recommend you to invest in flowers and fish first. These items do not need to be fed. It only takes time to harvest them. In the case of flowers, it is good to water when they ask for water, to increase the value of the harvest. Don’t forget to water the plants when they ask for water as the time for harvesting is reduced.
 
 
Every time your farm levels up, take a look at what the game has unlocked, and try to balance those investments with the game’s quests.
 
 
I HATE walking around to pick up items, so whenever I create a new farm I prefer to place all trees close to the bus stop. I also do this with fish, wells, animals (for quests) and other items that are interesting in terms of investment in the beginning.
 
 
Don’t forget to look at the amount of items that you collected:
 
 

 
 
When your farm reaches level 4, don’t forget to buy the barn:
 
 

 
 
GAS PUMP
 
 
Well, I think I can already see my deadly hatred for unnecessary effort, right?
 
 
For the name of ease and also happiness, once you have 2 pink ribbons, buy the gas pump:
 
 

 
It will be much better to plow, water and plant, since you can have your beautiful vehicle to help you.
 
 
LEVEL 5 RECOMMENDATIONS
 
 
Buy a few more wells, until you have at least 9 of them. It will help to have a few more pennies from time to time.
 
Buy more Barns. You should own 3 of them at level 5.
 
 
LEVEL 6 RECOMMENDATIONS
 
 
If you don’t own the Candy pack dlc buy at least 3 honeycombs (you can harvest them every 24 hours) It will help you to have some honey reserve for future use. If you own this dlc, don’t buy it now: wait until you’re level 12 to start buying the tree that gives honey (Cotton Candy Tree), besides being easier to harvest, you won’t have to wait 24 hours for each harvest.
 
 
Always harvest honey with a booster.
 
Buy more wells too. At least 12 more. Own a minimum of 21 Wells.
 
 
Once you have 5 ribbons, and after you have bought the fuel tank, buy the Pawn Shop:
 
 

 
 
Here you can exchange your gold for money, which will help you to buy the items you need.
 
 
If you own the Pot of Gold this will be the milestone where your income will change from water to wine. And what about when you have the 18 Arcane Horses then? then buddy/friend, lie down and roll with happiness… just don’t forget to harvest their gold with the booster, to double the amount of gold harvested (and your happiness too).
 
 
Don’t be afraid to exchange your gold at the beginning of the game for money. I think it’s better to invest than to leave the gold idle. Don’t be afraid to spend your money on investments as your farm will progress much faster.
 
 
LEVEL 7 RECOMMENDATIONS
 
 
If you have the arcane horse (or someone else has it and can place it for you) it’s interesting to level up to level 8 faster. So don’t forget to pick up the items as soon as you can, sell the items in the stalls and buy some items that give you more xp (in relation to the items available for purchase, harvest time and the available amount you have to invest)
 
 
So there are two ways to buy… the faster and the longer one with a little more xp.
 
 
1. Faster:
 
1. A. Buy the PINK FOGGER (event flower). You can harvest every 3 hours.
 
1. B. Buy more white hibiscus, at least 27. You can harvest every 1:30 hours.
 
 
2. More time consuming: Invest in pumpkins and watermelons. They provide more xp, although they take much longer.
 
 
The choice is yours. It will depend on if you will come back to the game the same day, or if you will come back in 1 or 2 days.
 
 
As I leveled up my level from 7 to 8 I had the luxury of planting 81 watermelons and simply waited. I did this due to the XP and the laziness that dwells in my soul. I also did this because I had the Pot of Gold, which gives me a good amount of money every 30 minutes.
 
 
LEVEL 8 RECOMMENDATIONS
 
 
If you have reached level 8 and have already unlocked the Arcane Horse (event) this is the first item you should acquire at this time. The maximum amount currently allowed is 18. Each one costs 3.5K coins. If possible, buy all 18 at once, if not, buy as much as possible.
 
 
If you still don’t have the item for purchase, check if a friend has it and if they can buy it for you. You can also search in the the Farm Together Community Discussions to see if anyone can be kind enough to buy them for your farm.
 
 
If you already own the Arcane Horse and/or the Pot of Gold, it would be nice of yours to be kind enough to offer these items to a low level farm owner. It is always good to do good deeds.
 
 
LEVEL 9 RECOMMENDATIONS
 
 
Buy 3 more barns. Save some money to buy the Tulipa Sevilla when you reach level 10.
 
 
LEVEL 10 RECOMMENDATIONS
 
 
Buy some Sevilla Tulips, at least 9. If you can, buy 21 of them.
 
Sevilla Tulips can be harvested only every 2 days.
 
 
 

General recomendations from level 11 to 20

Start dedicating some of the money to eventually level up the eggplant.
 
The best plant in the game, the Physalis, has eggplant at level 25 as one of its requirements. Another requirement is a level 42 farm.
 
 
LEVEL 11 RECOMMENDATIONS
 
 
Buy the flower stand.
 
Buy Daisy Shasta, at least 9. The ideal amount to buy is 21.
 
If you own the Oregano Pack dlc, buy the Oregano flower as much as you can.
 
 
LEVEL 12 RECOMMENDATIONS
 
 
Buy the flower stand, the honey stand (important) and the mushroom stand.
 
Buy 2 animal feeders for the Arcane Horses.
 
Buy the Blue Orchid, at least 9. The ideal amount is 21.
 
Buy Centrifolia Rose, at least 9. The ideal amount is 21.
 
 
Buy 1 other land and organize your farm.
 
 
If you own the Sugar Pack dlc, buy some Cotton Candy Tree. You can collect the honey it produces and later exchange it for pink ribbons (trade the honey in the honey stand). Try to add more of these trees over time, as much as possible.
 
 
Invest a little in watermelon, eggplant and pumpkin, according to your available money. Remember that they take much longer to harvest, but it is recommendable to level them up.
 
It may be interesting to buy 1 more land to invest in these 3 plants. The first lands are cheap, it’s worth buying 2 lands at this point.
 
 
LEVEL 13 RECOMMENDATIONS
 
 
Buy at least 2 more Barns and 2 Flower Stands.
 
Keep investing your money.
 
 
LEVEL 14 RECOMMENDATIONS
 
 
Buy at least 1 more Jam Stand. Use it to turn your apples into jelly.
 
Buy 1 nut market.
 
If you can, buy more Cotton Candy Trees.
 
 
LEVEL 15 RECOMMENDATIONS
 
 
Buy the Stone House, the Tree Cabin, the Viking Longhouse (if you own the dlc), 2 Flower Stands, 1 Mushroom Stand and at least 1 Dairy.
 
 
If you can, buy more Cotton Candy Trees. If you don’t own this DLC buy 7 more honeycombs. Always harvest honey with Booster and remember to exchange honey for pink ribbons at the honey stand.
 
 
After completing the construction of all houses, buy 2 Stoves for each house and start cooking.
 
 
Depending on your Pot of Gold and Arcane Horses harvest, invest a little in corn.
 
 
Buy at least 2 more Barns and 2 Red Silos.
 
 
Buy 2 more lands and reorganize your farm. I advise you to exchange the pink ribbons for 1 or 2 Points of Interest to make your life easier.
 
From here start saving the pink ribbons and then buy the Gas Station
 
 
If you don’t own it yet, buy it and plant at least 21 Oleander flowers and 9 Lavender flowers.
 
 
Buy 21 more Blue Orchids.
 
 
Make some more investments in flowers, plants and fish according to your needs and expectations.
 
Don’t forget to water – the plants grow faster and you can pick more of them.
 
 
LEVEL 19 RECOMMENDATIONS
 
 
Buy at least 21 Golden Daisies.
 
Buy more Lavender. Plant at least 21. If you can, plant 54.
 
 
If you own the Neon Tetra fish (event), buy them all.
 
 
Buy 1 Bakery.
 
 
Invest a little in Sunflower (it’s faster to harvest) and a little in Corn, Wheat and Watermelon (they take more time to be harvested).
 
 
Make more investments, but don’t forget the quests.
 
 
LEVEL 20 RECOMMENDATIONS
 
 
If you don’t own it already, buy 1 Spice Bazaar.
 
Buy more Cotton Candy Trees (dlc) OR 5 Honeycombs (only if you don’t have the dlc) if possible. Try to buy until you have at least 180 Cotton Candy Trees OR 50 honeycombs (50 because it will be tiring to pick them one by one everyday. if you have patience you can buy more).
 
 
Buy 27 more Oregano if possible.
 
Keep investing, harvest with booster and keep saving the pink ribbons.
 
Also invest in Pumpkin, Watermelon, Eggplant, Wheat, Sunflower.
 
Don’t forget to water the plants that take more time to harvest. Water them whenever they ask for water.
 
Remember to always harvest honey with booster.
 
 
 

General recomendations from level 21 to 30

LEVEL 21 RECOMMENDATIONS
 
 
The recommendations have a lot in common with those at Level 20:
 
 
“Keep investing, harvest with booster and keep saving the pink ribbons to buy the Gas Station.
 
 
Also invest in Pumpkin, Watermelon, Eggplant, Wheat, Sunflower.
 
Don’t forget to water the plants that take the longest to harvest. Water them whenever they ask for water.”
 
 
Buy more fish.
 
 
If you can, buy at least 21 Blue Bellflowers.
 
 
LEVEL 22 RECOMMENDATIONS
 
 
Probably here you will have the pink ribbons to buy the Gas Station.
 
Buy it. If not, buy it as soon as possible.
 
 
Also buy 1 more Point of Interest and rearrange your farm again if necessary.
 
 
If available for purchase, buy the yellow orchid as much as you can. At most 54.
 
 
LEVEL 23 RECOMMENDATIONS
 
 
Save your pink ribbons now to buy the Marketing Agency that will greatly assist your farm’s growth. It costs 20 ribbons.
 
 
If you haven’t invested a little more in Tulipa Sevilla, buy 27 more.
 
 
Invest in Watermelons and Corn, to acquire more xp. Don’t forget to water them to reduce the harvest time.
 
 
If you can, buy 1 more land to expand your farm.
 
Keep investing in flowers, fish and plants that provide more xp.
 
 
LEVEL 24 RECOMMENDATIONS
 
 
Once you have 20 pink ribbons, buy the Marketing Agency. Use it to get more quests and thus more ribbons.
 
 
LEVEL 25 RECOMMENDATIONS
 
 
Once you have 10 pink ribbons, buy the Honey Stand (if you haven’t already). Use it to sell honey and earn more pink ribbons.
 
Remember to always harvest honey with a booster.
 
 
Buy Tulip Strong, at least 21.
 
 
LEVEL 26 RECOMMENDATIONS
 
 
Buy the Fruit Shop.
 
Buy the Jam Stall if you have ribbon. If you still have ribbon, buy 1 helper.
 
 
Take as many quests in the Marketing Agency as you can to earn pink ribbons as a reward for accomplishing quests.
 
 
LEVEL 27 RECOMMENDATIONS
 
 
Keep investing and taking quests from the Marketing Agency.
 
Invest almost all the pink ribbons you earn in Sprinklers. Use 2 of the pink ribbons to get more quests at the Marketing Agency.
 
 
Watering plants le them grow 2 times faster. You can water the plants by hand but you will have to water them several times.
 
 
Put all sprinklers in the garden, to speed up the harvest of quest plants.
 
 
LEVEL 28 RECOMMENDATIONS
 
 
Buy 3 Red Barns.
 
Keep buying Sprinklers. Don’t forget to save 2 pink ribbons to take questions at the Marketing Agency.
 
 
LEVEL 29 RECOMMENDATIONS
 
 
If it’s available for purchase, buy the red orchid as much as you can. At most 54.
 
 
Keep buying Sprinklers.
 
 
LEVEL 30 RECOMMENDATIONS
 
 
Buy 1 Fish Market.
 
If you can, buy 54 Yellow Orchids.
 
Buy 5 more Honeycombs.
 
If you own the dlc, buy the Spanish Farmhouse.
 
 
 

General recomendations from level 31 to 40

LEVEL 31 RECOMMENDATIONS
 
 
Buy 1 more land and 1 more Helper.
 
If you own the dlcs and haven’t bought them yet, buy the Pirate Hideout, Circus Tent, Pagoda, Lunar Base, and Ryokan.
 
 
If you can, buy 63 Forestian Tulips.
 
 
LEVEL 32 RECOMMENDATIONSS
 
 
Buy 1 Egg Market.
 
If you can, invest a little in Pineapples.
 
 
LEVEL 33 to 36 RECOMMENDATIONS
 
 
Keep investing in quests, flowers, plants and fish to earn more xp and money.
 
Buy more Yellow Orchids, at least another 27.
 
When you can, buy the Rafflesia flower (event).
 
When you can, buy the Dry Goods Market and the Milk Truck.
 
When you can, buy 63 China Pink Tulips.
 
 
LEVEL 37 to 40 RECOMMENDATIONS
 
 
Buy the Flower Shop.
 
Buy 1 more land, when you can.
 
Keep investing.
 
Buy the Hydroponic Greenhouse when you reach level 40. Upgrade it as much as possible, so your flowers will earn you more money.
 
Buy at least 63 Gerbera Daisies. Place sprinklers on the Gerberas as much as possible.
 
If it’s available for purchase, buy the white orchid as much as you can, at least 54.
 
 
 

General recomendations from level 41 to 50

Keep taking more quests from the Marketing Agency.
 
Buy 2 more lands and reorganize your farm.
 
Buy 1 Pond Filter System and 1 Hairdresser.
 
Upgrade the Hydroponic Greenhouse as much as possible, as the flowers rewards you with more money then the other itens. Try to upgrade a few times the Pond Filter System.
 
 
Buy 1 Cheese Factory and at least 63 Red Orchids (if you don’t already have that many)
 
Expand the farm’s terrain as much as possible
 
 
When it’s available for purchase, buy the purple orchid as much as you can. At least 54.
 
 
At level 50 buy at least 63 Queen of Night Tulips.
 
Also buy the Warehouse and upgrade it over time.
 
 
As far as possible, continue investing in Gerbera Daisies and Purple Orchid to have more income and money, and then invest in upgrades for the Hydroponic Greenhouse and the Pond Filter System.
 
 
 

What are the best flowers to invest in?

I personally like 3 types of flowers to invest in this game: daisies, tulips and orchids.
 
 
Once you reach level 4 you can buy the first daisy, at level 10 you can buy the first tulip and when you reach level 12 you can buy the first orchid.
 
 
But why this preference? Simple: the last daisy is the Gerbera, which rewards you with a good amount of money. It is the best investment in the game to make money until now.
 
 
Other good investments with lower returns are the last orchid and the last tulip, which will provide you a good income until your farm reaches a very high level.
 
 
It is good to try to balance these investments according to the harvest time of each flower and according to your available time within the game.
 
 
Daisies
 
 

 
 
Upgrade the first daisy to level 4. This level is needed to unlock the next daisy (Shasta), which will also need the farm level to be 11.
 
 

 
 
Upgrade the Shasta Daisy to level 4. The next (Marguerite) daisy will require the farm to also be level 17.
 
 

 
 
Upgrade the Marguerite Daisy to level 5. The next daisy (the long-awaited Gerbera) will require your farm to be level 40.
 
 

 
 
Orchids
 
 

 
 
Upgrade the first orchid (blue) to level 5. This level is needed to unlock the next orchid (yellow) which will require your farm to be level 21.
 
 

 
 
The next Orchid is Red. The farm level must be level 21. It will also be necessary that the blue one is at level 10 and the yellow one at level 5.

Tulips
 
 

 
 
Level up the first Tulip (Sevilla) to level 3. Harvest time is 2 days. Level 3 is required to unlock the next Tulip (Tulipa Strong Gold) which will also need the farm level to be level 16.
 
 

 
 
The next Tulip to unlock is the Forestiana Tulip.
 
 

 
 
Then comes the China Pink Tulip.
 
 

 
 
The last tulip to be purchased is the Queen of Night.
 
 

 
 
 

What are the the best plants to invest?

The plants I love the most to invest in a new game (while the farm is under level 20) are the ones that give the most xp and have a better financial feedback compared to the invested price.
 
Unfortunately they take 1-2 days to harvest.
 
 
So, if you created your farm today, while you’re in the game, better invest in other things but if you are only getting back to the game tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, you can invest in these little plants to allow your farm to level up faster and thus have access to some other purchases to invest in your farm.
 
 
Basically my investments are in pumpkin, eggplant and watermelon.
 
 
If you are willing to come in from time to time to water them, you will be able to shorten the harvest time for these items.
 
 
 

The most important Event Items

DO YOU ALREADY HAVE SOME EVENT ITEMS UNLOCKED?
 
 
If you’ve owned another farm before and participated in some events, some of the items you already have unlocked will allow your farm to level up much faster, but for that you’ll need to reach the required farm level to unlock them for use.
 
 
If you don’t have the items but other friends/guests have them, they can place them on your farm as long as you give the permission and your farm has the required level.
 
 
The most important event items so far are the Pot O’ Gold and the Arcane Horse. They are practically indispensable for you to upgrade your farm quickly.
 
 
Pot O’Gold
 
 

 
 
This item is in the “Builds” tab. To place it the farm must be at level 5.
 
If you haven’t already, keep an eye out for events. It gives 1 gold stone every half hour. It’s really worth it at the beginning of the game because you can exchange this gold for money in the future, and invest the money in more flowers and fish. <3
 
 
Arcane Horse
 
 

 
 
This beast with mane, tail and purple paws is unlocked at level 8 and also gives gold. It has a limit of 18 animals that can be planted. They can be harvested every four hours. It’s also an event item. It is even more worthwhile than the pot of gold, as it can be planted in greater quantities.
 
 
I recommend you to place 2 animal feeders for these animals, to ensure that they will not run out of food.
 
 
You can trade the gold using the Pawn Shop.
 
 
Note: To level up faster, I suggest you to get the booster from another farm before harvesting, so you will earn double gold when harvesting.
 
 
 

Wells

The well costs 4 diamonds and generates 20 coins every 2 minutes. With booster each well generates 24 coins.
 
 
With 36 beautiful wells you can harvest over 21,000 coins per hour without a booster and almost 26,000 coins per hour with a booster.
 
 
This item is more interesting while you’re still struggling to earn money. Once you have at least the Pot of Gold and the Pawn Shop you will probably either not want to harvest the wells anymore or you will harvest them for a few levels, abandoning them as soon as the farm’s income increases. If you have the 18 Arcane Horses then… you can even throw away the wells once you start harvesting them because it won’t make any sense to keep them anymore.
 
 
Attention: It is not necessary to have more than 36 wells because when you are harvesting the last one, the first one will already be ready for harvesting again.
 
 
 

Honey

How important is honey?
 
 
You can use it as a bargaining chip at Honey Stand. Exchange 20 for 1 pink ribbon.
 
 

 
 
If you want practicality and take advantage of this feature better, I advise you to buy the dlc Sugar Pack (if you don’t already own it). This dlc has a tree that gives honey (Cotton Candy Tree). You can harvest the trees with a tractor and the harvest will depend on the season (summer).
 
 

 
 
If you don’t have the dlc you can use the honeycomb, but you will have to wait 24 hours between each harvest, and you can’t use the tractor to harvest 9 at a time. You will have to harvest one by one:
 
 

 
 
 

What are the best dlcs?

Oregano Pack and Sugar Pack.
 
 
Oregano Pack has the Oregano flower that provides a lot of diamonds. With diamonds you can buy land to expand your farm and other items.
 
 
Sugar Pack has the Cotton Candy Tree that gives honey. You can harvest them with the tractor only on summer.
