Controller Setup

Any controller (gamepad) supported by Steam can be setup from the games library page.
 
-Turn on your controller of choice.
 
-Click the (…) on the far right under the big PLAY button of your game.
 
-Choose (Controller Configuration)
 
-You may need to expand your window.
 
-Select (Browse Configs) (I had to use my controller to select it (Square for PS4 controller))
 
-Go to Community on the left tabs.
 
-Find the config you like (I recommend the first option by Sir Knives. It works perfectly)
 
-Confirm your config, hit Done, close the window.
 
-Start up your game with your controller, and you’re good to go!
 
 
You can also customize what each button does if you’d like.
 
I made this guide for those that didn’t know about this way of getting controller support on games you didn’t think was possible, and without any downloads like x360e or the dualshock one.
