Rubberbanding? Sick of it? No more. This guide will help you combat the rubberbanding issue that affects both Survivor & Killer roles in Dead by Daylight.
Introduction
Do you play DBD with 120 FPS? Do you want to combat the rubberband with another solution that doesn’t hinder your gameplay too much? LOOK NO FURTHER! This guide will help you fix the problem and still maintain smooth performance.
Step 1 – Folder Access
Search “%localappdata%” through windows search and open the folder.
Step 2 – Folder Selection
You’ll be presented with many folders. Find “DeadByDaylight”.
Step 3 – Folder Navigation
DeadByDaylight > Saved > Config > WindowsNoEditor > “GameUserSettings”.
Step 4 – Editing Value(s)
You’re gonna scroll down until you see “FPSLimit” & “FrameRateLimit”. You’re gonna want to make these both 90.
Step 5 – Verification
Ensure that you’ve saved the file via File > Save and then close it. Boot up DBD and use whatever software of preference to check whether or not the FPS change has went through. Rubberbanding should now be minimised with high performance still maintained.
