Here’s a step by step guide on how to connect “r_cleardecals” to the SHIFT key in CS:GO.

Step 1: Turn on the Developer Console

Before you can bind commands using keys in CSGO, you need to enable the developer console. To do this, visit your game settings and then click on the “Game” tab. Click “Apply” to enable the Developer Console option.

To open the developer console simply press the tilde () key on your keyboard. This will bring up an enlargeable text box at the bottom of the screen.

Step 3: Locate the Key You’d Like to Bind

In this scenario we’d like to tie the “r_cleardecals” command to the SHIFT key. To find the right command for the SHIFT key enter “bind shift” (without the quotes) in the console and press Enter. This will show the current bindings for SHIFT key.
