FIX
STEP 1
Install Bubble Girl (if it is not installed yet) using Steam library.
STEP 2
While Steam is running, use Win(Windows key)+R key combination to open “Run” window. Copy-paste the address below to enable Steam console (you can also paste this to your web browser):
Hit OK (or Enter).
STEP 3
On Steam window, a console option will appear right-side of your nickname. Click on CONSOLE and copy-paste the command prompt below and press Enter:
STEP 4
It will start to download previous version of the game to your Steam directory. It would take more time to download since depot downloads are most probably bandwidth-throttled (approx. two minutes)
STEP 5
When download is finished, a message inform you when the download is finished and show the download location of these files. Open that directory using Windows Explorer.
STEP 6
On the other hand, open the directory as well which the game installed via Steam library. You can reach the directory right clicking on Bubble Girl, selecting “Properties” and then “Local Files” and “Browse…”.
STEP 7
First, delete all files located in “Bubble Girl” folder. DON’T DELETE the folder, just delete the files in this folder.
STEP 8
Copy the files located in (…)\depot_1461950 folder and paste them in “Bubble Girl” folder.
STEP 9
Enjoy the game once again. After all these steps, you can launch the game as you did before.
AFTERWORD
I hope that you liked this guide. Cheers!
※ I suggest you to back the files up you downloaded on console -which is located in (…)\steamapps\content\app_1461950\depot_1461950- if something goes wrong later. You can always use this method to fix the game as far as you have the old files.
