A Cynical Guide: This is a comprehensive guide detailing a step by step walkthrough of all 47 Achievements in the game. If you have never played this game, this guide will show you a road map & order in which these unlocked for me. If you are simply hunting for Achievements this will hopefully help illuminate the ones you are missing.

Introduction:

Achievement Breakdown: (47)
Story Related: (18)
Missable: (2)
Collectibles: (9)
Slay: (8)
Miscellaneous: (2)
Challenges: (8)

For 100% Achievements, we will need to complete two playthroughs of this game. One playthrough on Easy or Normal Difficulty earning 100% game completion & the other playthrough just on Hard Difficulty. While you could in theory try unlocking everything on Hard, as all Difficulty Achievements are retro-active, it is very difficult. On Hard Difficulty, the prompts for Countering enemies disappears & you have to do it completely by sight or muscle memory. I would recommend playing through the game once on Normal first so that you can get a feel for the controls.

To earn 100% game completion for the Perfect Knight Achievement, we must beat the game on any Difficulty, complete all 240 Riddler Challenges in the Main Campaign, & achieve all 48 Challenge Medals on the same playthrough. The first two objectives are not very difficult. The Challenge Medals, on the other hand are. These are Wave based skill trials that test your abilities in Combat & Stealth. The Combat Challenges can be quite irritating to complete. Fortunately, the Challenges are set at Normal Difficulty, so enemy damage will be lessened & you will have the Counter prompts.

There are 240 Riddles to collect/complete in the 9 locations of the game. As we progress through the game & unlock new Gear or Upgrades, more these Collectibles will become available to us. Be warned, Collectibles only save after receiving a Checkpoint! If you die, quit, or reload your game before reaching a Checkpoint you will have to re-collect all Riddles you previously collected! A new Checkpoint autosaves every time you enter a new Room though, so it is not difficult obtaining one.
All thing considered, the Predator Challenges are not very difficult, but are quite formulaic. You basically just have to knock out Henchmen in 3 specific ways to earn the 3 Predator Medals for that Map. While I have included videos for them by CDM’s Gaming Channel, the only one you may end up using is for Silent Knight (Extreme) is it requires you to do something very specific.

The Combat Challenges are another bag of marbles entirely. Though they are very skill dependant, there is also quite a bit of luck involved just with when a Henchman will decide to throw a punch, pick up a Gun, or just overall be a complete pain in the (Censored by Steam). Patience is key for these as well as understanding how to incorporate different moves into your Combos to radically increase your Points. We will worry about all this later on, thankfully…

Before You Play: For whatever reason, this game needs a constant internet connection to play. If you ever lose your connection, you will literally get booted back to the Main Menu & lose any unsaved progress. This can be absolutely infuriating as… this is in no way at all on Online game! As far as I am aware, there are no fixes for this. It is solely dependant on your connection. If you are like me & having to use a Wireless Internet Adaptor, you may find yourself getting a bit annoyed playing through the Campaign. Fortunately, this “feature” is not present in any of the other Arkham games… so we at least have that to look forward to when we get there.

*Guide contains major spoilers.

Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition 100% Achievement Guide: Batman - Arkham Asylum

Achievement #1 – Freeflow Combo 5: Complete a Combo of 5 moves (any play mode).

Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition 100% Achievement Guide: Batman - Arkham Asylum

Achievement #2 – Freeflow Combo 10: Complete a Combo of 10 moves (any play mode).
After the first group of 3 Henchmen we will be attacked by a group of 4. If you are proficient at this kind of combat in games, you may be able to reach a Combo Multiplier of 10. If not, do not worry, this is almost guaranteed to unlock for you at some point during this playthrough.

Riddler Trophy #1 – Holding Cells: After defeating the Henchmen released by Joker, turn around to face the observational window that Commissioner Gordon is standing in. Look to the left of the ramp leading up to the Security Gate here & you will see a Vent Grate in the wall. Pull open the Grate & crawl inside; the Trophy will be inside the vent.

Joker Teeth #1-3 – Holding Cells: Go up the ramp leading out of the Holding Cells now & look inside the security office to our left at the top. We can find 3 Joker Teeth scuttling around on the floor in here. Use your Batarangs to destroy them.

Joker Teeth #4 – Processing Corridor: Enter the Processing Corridor from the Holding Cells & we can find 1 set of Joker Teeth in our way near an incapacitated Guard.

Joker Teeth #5 – Processing Corridor: Carry on down the hallway & we will be attacked by two Henchmen at a crossroads. Head left down the hall from here towards the Guard, Eddie Burlow, & there will be 1 set of Joker Teeth scuttling around by another incapacitated Guard.

Achievement #3 – Shocking Rescue: Take down Zsasz in the Patient Pacification Chamber.
Story Related. As you progress through Intensive Treatment, we will have to take down Zsasz who has captured a Guard. Grapple around the room & subdue Zsasz with a Glide Kick/Ground Pound to unlock the Achievement.

Riddler Trophy #2 – Ventilation System: To exit Patient Pacification, we must rip down a Vent Grate & crawl into the Ventilation System. We can find this Trophy directly in our way before we drop back into the Processing Corridor.

Joker Teeth #6-8 – Decontamination: When we drop out of the vent, we will have to take a right in the Processing Corridor into Decontamination. As soon as we enter, the doors will lock behind us. We can find 3 Joker Teeth scuttling around in the hall right in front of the door.

Achievement #4 – Leave No Man Behind: Rescue the Guards & Henchmen from the Joker Toxin.
While this is technically a Story Related Achievement, it is missable if the Henchman or one of the two Guards dies. Quickly Grapple around the room & save the three men to unlock the Achievement.

The first Guard will be hanging off the ledge in front of us when we enter the Decontamination Room. Leap across to the next platform & Grapple up to the upper ledge to pull the second Guard up. From here, Glide down to a platform further on to pull up the Henchman; you will knock him out straight after saving him.

If you are having trouble locating any of these three men, turn on Detective Mode to be able to see their vitals.

Joker Teeth #9 – Decontamination: After using a Batarang to disable the Joker Toxin, drop down & approach the console area we smashed to find 1 set of Joker Teeth near a dead Guard here.

Joker Teeth #10 – Decontamination: Head backwards along the ground floor through Decontamination towards where we entered in from the Processing Corridor. We can find 1 set of Joker Teeth in front of a Security Gate to our left.

Joker Teeth #11 – Decontamination: Keep heading towards the Processing Corridor & we can find another 1 set of Joker Teeth around the corner from the last one off our right in the hall just before linking back up with Eddie Burlow.

Riddler Trophy #3 – Decontamination: From the electrified Security Gate, head around the corner to its left to see a dead Guard next to a Joker Toxin Cylinder. On either side of the shower system behind them will be some Floor Grates. Crouch down & enter either Floor Grate to find a Riddler Trophy hidden in the vent between the two entrances.

Around this point we will Level Up for the first time. While all Upgrades are worth unlocking, we need the Inverted Takedown & Remote Control Batarang for two different Achievements, so keep that in mind as we play. Between the two, get Inverted Takedown as we can unlock its associated Achievement in Sequence 2.

Joker Teeth #12 – Transfer Loop: Enter the Transfer Loop from the Decontamination Room to find 1 set of Joker Teeth right in front of us.

Joker Teeth #13 – Transfer Loop: For now, we will only be able to progress towards the Secure Treatment Transfer. We can find 1 set of Joker Teeth just outside its entrance from the Transfer Loop.

Intensive Treatment:

Joker Teeth #14-16 – Transfer Loop: Re-enter the Transfer Loop & begin making your way down the hall left. When you reach the crossroads, ignore Commissioner Gordon for now, & quickly jog down towards the entrance of Secure Transit. We can find 3 Joker Teeth to the right of the Locked Door leading into Secure Transit.

Interview Tape #1 – Secure Transit: Harley Quinn #1
After Harley brings down the elevator & we regain control of Batman, walk around the elevator shaft to the other side of the room. Here, we can find a set of stairs going up off our left which will lead us into a security office. We can find our first Interview Tape on a desk against the left wall.

Chronicle of Arkham #1 – Secure Transit: Complete the literal platforming event making your way up the elevator shaft to Cell Block Transfer. When you are one floor below all of Joker’s Henchman, we will come across our first Chronicle of Arkham. It is right in our path & difficult to miss. Scan it to collect it.

Coming across this Chronicle also unlocks our ability to Scan objects in Detective Mode which opens up some more Collectibles to us…

Joker Teeth #17 – Secure Transit: After defeating all of the Henchman above where we found the Chronicle, we can find 1 set of Joker Teeth scuttling around in front of a Security Gate on the left side of the room.

Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition 100% Achievement Guide: Batman - Arkham Asylum

Achievement #6 – Rope-A-Dope-A-Dope: String up one Henchman & drop him to surprise a second (any play mode).
The soonest we are able to unlock this Achievement is when enter the Intensive Treatment Lobby. If you have purchased the Inverted Takedown Upgrade, Grapple up to the closest Gargoyle above the stairs ahead of us as we come out of the vent. While on the Gargoyle, Invert yourself & wait for a Henchman to walk up or down the stairs underneath you. When you get the prompt, perform an Inverted Takedown.

After you have hung the Henchman from the Gargoyle, Grapple away to a different location out of sight nearby & wait for a different Henchman to come over & investigate. When the Henchman is directly underneath the one that is strung up, cut down the hung Henchman with a Batarang so he falls & scares other guy to unlock the Achievement. You do not have to hit the Henchman with the hung guy; he just has to witness him being cut down.

If you have not purchased Inverted Takedown yet, do not worry, this is simply the soonest we can unlock the Achievement. We will have plenty of opportunities like this throughout the game… it can even be unlocked during any Predator Challenge as well.

Interview Tape #2 – Intensive Treatment Lobby: Harley Quinn #2
In the center of this room will be a small building. Head inside on its second floor & we can find this Tape on a desk in one of the side rooms.

Joker Teeth #18-20 – Intensive Treatment Lobby: Grapple up to where the entrance to the Maximum Security Entrance is to find Frank Boles. We can find 3 Joker Teeth around where he is here.

Riddle #1 – Intensive Treatment Lobby: “Don’t cut yourself on this Sharply observed portrait.”
After we find Frank Boles, we will be contacted by the puppet master himself, The Riddler. After he finishes his monologue, we will now have access to yet another set of Collectibles to find.

Turn around from Boles & look along the left wall to find a portrait of Quincy Sharp. Scan the portrait to collect this Riddle.

Riddle #2 – Intensive Treatment Lobby: “A puzzle has many sides, but only some are visible.”
Before speaking with the Guard who opens the door to you, William North, return to that office building in the center of this room. In the office there will be some Floor Grates making an L-shape on the floor. Follow the L around the corner & stand beside a broken TV near an exit to the office. Turn around & look backwards through the windows looking out towards where Frank Boles is; you should be able to see the Top of a Question Mark on the window in Detective Mode.

To complete these Riddles, you need to align the Top of the Question Mark with its Dot bottom. We can find the Dot looking through the window to the right of the Question Mark underneath a large circular vent in the wall. Line up the Top & the Dot of the Question Mark looking through the window & Scan it to complete the Riddle.

From the ledge overlooking Arkham Asylum, look over to your left to see a guard tower. Grapple up to it & we can find this Tape on a desk inside near a seated Guard.
We will be prompted to go to Arkham North to track down the Batmobile. But we might as well collect the Collectibles while we are here in Arkham East.

Riddler Trophy #5 – Arkham East: Look across from this guard tower to see another one near the Botanical Gardens. Grapple onto the roof of the next guard tower to find a Riddler Trophy.

Riddler Trophy #6 – Arkham East: From the tower, head down past the Botanical Gardens along the left wall to find a graveyard. Head inside & we can find a small wooden shed near its center. A Riddler Trophy will be inside this shed on a table.

Exit the shed in the graveyard & look off your right to find an open grave with an exposed coffin & a lit lantern beside it. Scan the tombstone of Dr. Amadeus Arkham to collect the Riddle.

Riddler Trophy #7 – Arkham East: Make your way to the very back of the graveyard’s north end against the cliffs & we can find another Trophy in front of the last tombstone back here.

Chronicle of Arkham #2 – Arkham East: From the graveyard, head through the archway out of it to the left & up some stairs onto a small courtyard close to Arkham Mansion. Head left along this courtyard & there will be an isolated patio we can Grapple into with a lone tree in it. As soon as we land in the patio, look along the right wall & we can find a Chronicle on the ground hidden behind the railing in between the first two windows on Arkham Mansion.

Riddler Trophy #9 – Arkham East: Grapple up onto the roof of Arkham Mansion now. We can find this Trophy in the middle of the roof directly above where we found Riddler Trophy #8.

Riddler Trophy #10 – Arkham East: Now Grapple onto the clock tower in the middle of the Arkham Mansion roof above us. Make your way up to the very top of this tower & we can find a Riddler Trophy around the right corner from the clock face.

Riddle #5 – Arkham East: “My challenges appear to those with the correct position in life.”
While we are at the top of the clock tower here, turn around from where we found the Riddler Trophy & turn on Detective Mode. We can see the Top of a Question Mark in between the two rooves below us. The Dot will be located on the edge of the platform we are standing on near our feet. Line up the two halves & Scan them to collect the Riddle.

Riddle #6 – Arkham East: “Gotham’s greatest family towers over the city.”
Walk along the clock tower until you are looking out towards the sea. Look out at the city off in the distance & we can find Wayne Tower underneath where the moon is in the sky. Zoom in at the W. E.N.T. sign on the tower & Scan it to collect the Riddle.

Achievement #9 – Night Glider: Glide continuously for over 100m.
Return back up to the clock tower on Arkham Mansion, & stand on the ledge closest to the sea, away from Arkham Asylum. Now leap off the side of the tower & begin gliding over to the very far end of Arkham East, where the entrance to Arkham North is near the Botanical Gardens. Glide as far as you can (I landed just near the steps that lead up to Botanical Gardens) & that should be a far enough distance to reach 100m.

Riddler Trophy #12 – Arkham East: There are a couple more Collectibles we can grab right away here in Arkham East. Make your way over to the very south end of Arkham East over towards the sea, past Quincy Sharp’s statue. We can find this Trophy on a small platform overlooking the sea below.

Secrets Map #1 – Arkham North: From this Riddler Trophy, climb on top of the small security building across from you with a Structural Weakness in its roof. Use Explosive Gel to blow a hole in the roof & we can collect the Secrets Map on top of a table inside.

This will help us out a little bit for locating some of these Collectibles.

Chronicle of Arkham #3 – Arkham North: Back from the doors where we entered Arkham North, hop over the small wall in between the doors & Intensive Treatment. Follow the trail on the other side of the wall along & it will lead us into a cave system. Grapple up the ledge ahead & we can find the Chronicle at the top immediately off our left.

Riddler Trophy #14 – Arkham North: From the Chronicle, carry on through this cave system & pass through the door. Follow the passage along until the room widens & there is a broken pillar in the center of the room with skulls piled on it. We can find a Structural Weakness in the wall off our right. Walk back under the archway we came through to enter the building. While outside, turn around & look up at it with Detective Mode to see the Top of a Question Mark on it. We can find the Dot on the ceiling above us inside the building. Align the pieces & Scan them to collect the Riddle.

Riddle #8 – Arkham North: “Tweedledum & Tweedledee SAW it, can you see it?”
Go to the far North end of Arkham North to where the front gates are located. To the right of the gates are two see-saws. Scan them to collect this Riddle.

Riddler Trophy #19 – Arkham North: Follow the road back up & Grapple onto the roof of the guard tower closest to Arkham East. From here, look back towards the front gates to Arkham Asylum. Pull open the Vent Grate & make your way through the duct until we get to a crossroads. The way we are supposed to go is forward, take the path leading down off your right instead which will lead us to another Vent Grate. Use Batman’s squatting thighs & launch the Grate off to find the Trophy.

Joker Teeth #24-26 – Sanatorium: Enter the Sanatorium & dispatch Joker’s Henchmen inside. When they are taken out, drop down to the bottom floor. We can find 3 Joker Teeth scuttling around in the middle of the bottom floor, on the left side close to a ramp up.

Blow open the floor & we will see the Top of a Question Mark. The Dot will be located on the floor just underneath the Question Mark. Align the two pieces & Scan to unlock the Riddle.

Interview Tape #6 – Sanatorium: The Riddler #1
Head across to the other side of the second floor now & enter the room to the left of where the Doctors are. We can find this Tape on a desk in a room with some x-ray photographs in it.

Interview Tape #7 – Medical Foyer: The Riddler #2
Before entering the Upper Corridor to progress, backtrack into the Medical Foyer first. Head all the way back to the other side of the Security Gate where Harley was sitting at the main entrance to the Medical Facility. We can find an Interview Tape on the table in front of the Gate.

Riddle #12 – Medical Foyer: “Is the generosity of our benefactors on the Wayne?”
From where we collected the Interview Tape, look at the wall close to the right hallway around the Medical Foyer. There should be a golden plaque reading “City of Gotham – This Unit Was Funded By Bruce Wayne”. Scan the plaque to complete the Riddle. What wasn’t funded by the Wayne family…

Riddler Trophy #27 – Upper Corridor: When we first enter the Upper Corridor, head left up some stairs & follow some blue & red lines along the floor. A little ways down the hall, we will see an open vent to the left of a glass window off our right. Climb into the vent & turn right to find a Riddler Trophy.

Interview Tape #8 – Patient Observation: The Riddler #3
Follow the blue line along & enter Patient Observation. Get into the main room through the Vent Grate & turn on the three ventilation fans with Batarangs to remove the Joker Toxin.

With the Toxin gone, enter the room that Aaron Cash & the Doctor came out of to find this Interview Tape on a table.

Joker Teeth #27 – Patient Observation: Grapple on top of the room we found the Interview Tape in to find 1 set of Joker Teeth here.

Joker Teeth #28 – Patient Observation: From these Joker Teeth, leap across to the balcony with the fans on the wall to find another 1 set of Joker Teeth here near the left corner.

Joker Teeth #29 – Patient Observation: On this balcony, follow it along to the far right corner to find yet another 1 set of Joker Teeth here.

Riddle #13 – Patient Observation: “Was this fire fly too hot off the press?”
Before we leave Patient Observation, enter the small room where we had to drop a Henchman through its ceiling. Inside, look along the right side of the room to see a cabinet with some newspapers on Firefly on it. Scan the newspapers to collect the Riddle.

Look above the portrait to see a Vent Grate we can tear down with the Batclaw; do so & Grapple up to it to enter a secret room with the Chronicle inside.

Interview Tape #31 – Decontamination: Harley Quinn #5
Enter Decontamination & head to the far end of the room where the Security Gate is off our left. Disable it with our Cryptographic Sequencer & we can find this Tape on a desk straight ahead of us on the left wall.

Riddler Trophy #91 – Decontamination: In the same room we found Interview Tape #31, climb up the ladder near the right wall & we can find a Trophy right beside us when we get up.

Riddler Trophy #92 – Patient Pacification Chamber: Disable the Security Gate in the Processing Corridor & make your way into the Patient Pacification Chamber. Inside, head up the stairs to the second floor across from us & we can find a Vent Grate at the top of the ramp leading up. Tear it down with the Batclaw & we can collect a Trophy inside the vent.

Riddler Trophy #93 – Patient Pacification Chamber: Go back down to the first floor & enter the room where we first encountered Zsasz. Look to the right of the hall we walk down into the room to see a Vent Grate. Tear it down to collect the Riddler Trophy.

You may have collected this earlier as well; I somehow missed this one too…

Riddle #46 – Patient Pacification Chamber: “Even I was shocked when I saw how Maxie Zeus was treated!”
Down along the same wall, we can find a Structural Weakness in it to our right at the end. Blow it up with Explosive Gel to open up a secret room. Scan the wall covered in symbols to complete the Riddle.

Riddle #47 – Holding Cells: “Where would you find my home sweet home?”
Our last Collectible in Intensive Treatment can be found in the Holding Cells. If you enter the Holding Cells from the top entrance, walk down the ramp & enter the first cell off our right. It will have a bunch of question markers painted on the walls; Scan it to complete the Riddle.

4/9 locations completed.

The Caves:

Riddler Trophy #94 – Croc’s Lair: While still in the Intensive Treatment, make your way to Secure Transit & drop down the elevator shaft where Scarecrow went so we can quickly pop into The Caves.

Our last Collectible here can be found all the way left, right above the door that leads into the Old Sewer. Look above the door to see a Structural Weakness in the ceiling. Tear it down with the Ultra Batclaw; Grapple up & grab the Trophy.

Boom, 5/9 locations completed!

Botanical Gardens:

Riddler Trophy #95 – Abandoned Chamber: Exit The Caves however you like, & make your way back into the Botanical Gardens. Make your way into the Abandoned Chamber & make your way to the upper level where that walkway we cut down with a Batarang is. Climb onto the pillar beside the walkway & get on top of the bridge in the middle. From here, we can see a Structural Weakness in the wall across from us. Tear it down with the Ultra Batclaw & use the Line Launcher to reach the Trophy.

Chronicle of Arkham #20 – Titan Production Facility: Our last Collectible here can be found inside the Titan Production Facility. Line Launch across the gap, then look back towards where we came from to see a Structural Weakness in the wall left of the doors. Tear it down with the Ultra Batclaw & Line Launch over to the Chronicle.

Arkham Mansion:

Interview Tape #32 – Library: The Scarecrow #4
Enter Arkham Mansion & head through the South Corridor to get to the Library. When we enter, walk around this floor to the left to see a Security Gate we can disable with our Cryptographic Sequencer. The Interview Tape will be straight ahead of us through the Gate.

Riddler Trophy #96 – East Wing Corridor: In East Wing Corridor, approach the door that leads to the Warden’s Office, then look up to your left to see a Structural Weakness in the wall. Tear it down with our Ultra Batclaw & Grapple up to collect a Trophy.

Interview Tape #33 – West Wing Corridor: The Scarecrow #5
Enter the West Wing Corridor now & we can find a Structural Weakness in the wall to the left on the landing in between the Arkham Records Room & Dr. Young’s Office. You know what to do; tear down the wall with the Ultra Batclaw & climb over to the Tape.

Riddle #48 – Arkham Records Room: “Our records show that a strange transfer request was made in this room.”
In the room South inside the Arkham Records Room we can see a Security Gate with “Restricted Files” above it. Disable the Gate with our Cryptographic Sequencer & use the Line launcher to get into the room safely. Scan the file cabinets with the “Strange Files” sticking out of them to fulfil the Riddle.

7/9 locations down.

Sequence 16: The Killing Joke

1. Medical Facility, Penitentiary, Arkham West, Visitor Center
2. Chronicles of Arkham: 24/24
3. Interview Tapes: 35/35
4. Riddles: 51/51
5. Riddler Trophies: 101/101
6. Riddler’s Challenge: 240/240
7. Achievements: 36/47
—————————————————————————————————–

Medical Facility:

When we enter Arkham West, we will see a large group of Henchmen outside of the Visitor Center near the Penitentiary. Do not go up to them yet/inside the Visitor Center! Entering the Visitor Center will lock us into the final section of the game; though there is Free Roam afterwards.

Chronicle of Arkham #21 – Medical Foyer: In the Medical Foyer, make your way around until you are right in front of the doors to the Sanatorium. Turn around & we can see a Structural Weakness in the wall behind us. Tear it down with the Ultra Batclaw & we can Scan the Chronicle from down here if you zoom in.

Riddler Trophy #97 – Sanatorium: Enter the Sanatorium & go to the far right corner past the last Gargoyle. In the corner near the Gargoyle, we can see a Vent Grate (not to be confused with the Vent Grate near the elevator). Tear it down with the Batclaw & Grapple up inside it; we can find the Trophy in a secret room here.

Chronicle of Arkham #22 – X-Ray Room: Enter the Upper Corridor & run through the halls to the right to reach the X-Ray Room. Walk a little ways inside then turn around & look way above the entrance to see a Structural Weakness in the upper wall. Tear it down with the Ultra Batclaw & Grapple up to it to find another Chronicle.

Riddler Trophy #98 – Surgery Room: When we enter the Surgery Room, there will be a Security Gate for us to disable immediately off our left. Do so, & head up the stairs where we can find a Riddler Trophy on a small trolley at the top.

Riddler Trophy #99 – Patient Observation: In the main room of Patient Observation, look directly above us to our right when we enter to see a Vent Grate in the wall. Tear it down with the Batclaw & we can find a Trophy in a secret room beyond it.

Riddle #49 – Secure Access: “Are you going to take your hat off to Harley, Bats?”
To make our way down into Secure Access, tear down the Vent Grate above the elevator in the Sanatorium & we can drop down the elevator shaft to it.

At the bottom of the elevator shaft, Grapple into an open vent & follow it along until your reach a Vent Grate we must kick it. Before you do, look down the vent passage to our right & we can see down into a room full of Joker magazines & a Harley Quinn bobblehead. Drop down into it & Scan the bobblehead, to fulfil the Riddle.

Interview Tape #34 – Secure Access: The Ridder #4
Once in Secure Access out of the vent, walk left & we can see a Security Gate we can disable with our Cryptographic Sequencer. Walk into the room we opened up & look to your right to see the Tape on the counter.

Riddler Trophy #100 – Secure Access: Back track to the hall we were in before & this time walk to the right end. Look up ahead of us & we can see a Structural Weakness in the wall above us. Tear it down with the Ultra Batclaw & Grapple over into the room. The Riddler Trophy will be in the room to the left on a table near a Security Gate.

Interview Tape #35 – Experimental Chamber: The Riddler #5
For our final Collectible in the Medical Facility, make your way down to the Experimental Chamber. Return inside the small room we found Bane in to collect the Interview Tape.

Penitentiary:

Chronicle of Arkham #23 – Generator Access: Head up to the Penitentiary now, still ignoring those partying Henchmen, & sprint to the Main Cell Block. From here, disable the Security Gate & enter into Generator Access. Line Launch across the electrified water & we can find the Chronicle just off our right.

Riddler Trophy #101 – Guard Room: Our final Collectibles can all be found in the Guard Room now. Enter the room to our left where Louie Green is & Grapple onto the vents above him. Blow down the wall with a Structural Weakness with some Explosive Gel then tear down yet another Structural Weakness ahead of us with the Ultra Batclaw. Line Launch across to where we opened up & enter into the hallway. We can find this Riddler Trophy immediately to our right.

Riddle #50 – Guard Room: “When is something right in front of you but still hidden from view?”
After turning on the ventilation to remove the Joker Toxin, turn around & look back at the room Louie Green is in while in Detective Mode. We can see a Question Mark forming from where we Line Launched from to get over here. Align the two pieces to complete the Riddle.

Riddle #51 – Guard Room: “Prometheus, Arkham guards’ most wanted & most hated.”
Drop down into the room below you & look to your left to see a Most Wanted poster of Prometheus. Scan it to complete the Riddle.

Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition 100% Achievement Guide: Batman - Arkham Asylum

Achievement #31 – Crack the E Nigma: Solve every Riddle on the island.
We will unlock this Achievement after we have completed all 240 Riddler Challenges… what a grind.

Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition 100% Achievement Guide: Batman - Arkham Asylum

Achievement #32 – World’s Greatest Detective: Spirit of Amadeus Arkham revealed.
After finding 23/24 Chronicles of Arkham, head to the Security Control Room in the Penitentiary. Head into the control room where we left Warden Quincy Sharp & we will find a strange circle with Batman written over & over again on the floor. Scan it to complete the Chronicles of Arkham & unlock the Achievement.

Arkham West:

Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition 100% Achievement Guide: Batman - Arkham Asylum

Achievement #33 – Party Pooper: KO all the Henchmen celebrating your arrival at the party.
Approach the Visitor Center & get ready to party. This is technically a missable Achievement; if you do not knock out every single party Henchmen here, the Achievement will not unlock. Knock out the 4 Henchmen outside, then the 16 Henchmen inside the Visitor Center entrance to unlock the Achievement.

Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition 100% Achievement Guide: Batman - Arkham Asylum

Achievement #34 – Freeflow Combo 40: Complete a Combo of 40 moves (any play mode).
If you are clever, using the 16 Henchmen inside the Visitor Center is a perfect time to try for this Achievement since there are so many enemies here. While this Achievement can be obtained in the Combat Challenges, this is a much better opportunity BECAUSE, if you mess up we can Restart From Checkpoint… which is right as we left the Penitentiary. It is definitely worth reloading for if you can manage it; consider it practice for the Challenges later on…

Try moving back & forth down the hall, focusing on beating up the clumped together Henchmen who are not currently attacking you. Keep your eyes peeled on any Henchmen with their fists raised as they may charge or attack you at a drop of a hat.

Visitor Center:

Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition 100% Achievement Guide: Batman - Arkham Asylum

Achievement #35 – Big Bang: Deliver an explosive knock out blow to the Joker (Easy Difficulty).
Story Related. Enter the Visitor Center & defeat the Joker in an epically lack luster boss battle. Knock down his health bar three times & defeat him to complete our first playthrough of Arkham Asylum.

Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition 100% Achievement Guide: Batman - Arkham Asylum

Achievement #36 – Bigger Bang: Deliver an explosive knock out blow to the Joker (Normal Difficulty).
Story Related. Difficulty Achievements stack, if you beat the game on Normal, you will unlock this Achievement as well.

If you have real Brass Balls, you may have even done this on Hard Difficulty…

2. Achievements: 37/47
—————————————————————————————————–

Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition 100% Achievement Guide: Batman - Arkham Asylum

Achievement #37 – Biggest Bang: Deliver an explosive knock out blow to the Joker (Hard Difficulty).
Story Related. On Hard Difficulty, enemies deal more damage & the Counter Prompts for when they attack you are now disabled. We will have to complete combat purely on instinct & watching the enemies telegraph their attacks. Hard Difficulty can be very challenging at times, especially during boss fights. Channel all the skills we have learned in the previous playthrough. The worst part about our Hard Difficulty playthrough… is having to crawl through Killer Croc’s lair, again. Though Poison Ivy can be a real challenge as well, though we fortunately get a Checkpoint during her second phase.

While we already have the Achievements for completing all the Riddler Challenges, I still highly recommend completing some of them during this playthrough for some XP. Getting those Armor Upgrades is a must. We can also complete Riddler Challenges to regain precious health as well. Feel free to follow the guide from the start again to locate the early on Collectibles. Though you can probably find all the ones you need just as you come across them. Thanks to not having to scour for all 240 of them, this playthrough should be much quicker.

This needs to be started on its own Save File obviously; do not delete our first playthrough as we will be returning to it after completing Hard Difficulty to beat our heads against those Challenges. Feel free to plunk away at those whenever you are tired of Hard Difficulty, or if you want to save this playthrough until the very end.

Sequence 18: Challenge Mode

1. Achievements: 40/47
—————————————————————————————————–

Return to our Easy/Normal game in Arkham Asylum. If you have completed the game & completed 240/240 Riddler Challenges than we should be sitting at 84% Game Completion. To get the other 16%, we need to receive all 24 Combat Medals & all 24 Predator Medals in the Challenge Mode. These are some of the hardest Achievements you are likely to ever encounter in a game. It requires a lot of skill… & even more luck given how unintuitive combat can be in this game.

To start, we are going to quickly mop up the Achievements you most likely CAN get first & get those out of the way.

Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition 100% Achievement Guide: Batman - Arkham Asylum

Achievement #38 – Flawless Freeflow Fighter: Complete one Combat Challenge without taking damage.
Load up Intensive Treatment as it is the easiest Combat Map.

We cannot take damage, but you CAN lose your Combo Multiplier just by not engaging enemies. Counter as often as you can, & do not be afraid to Evade enemies by leaping over them. This may take a few tries… but trust me when I say, this is the easiest Achievement we will be getting out of this. There are 4 Rounds we have to fight through without taking damage to unlock the Achievement.

Ironically, you will probably earn 3 Medals on this Combat Challenge after earning the Achievement, which is a nice break.

Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition 100% Achievement Guide: Batman - Arkham Asylum

Achievement #39 – Freeflow Perfection: Perform a Perfect Combo including all of Batman’s Combat Moves (any play mode).
Load up the Intensive Treatment or the Sewer Bat Combat Challenge.

This Achievement can be a bit tricky; there are 9 Combat Moves we must use all in the same Combo. We cannot be interrupted or take damage to lose our Combo Multiplier. We have to perform both Combo Finisher moves as well which will require you to build up a Combo Multiplier twice.

The 9 Combat Moves are:
1. Pull a Henchman with the Batclaw then strike him as they approach (RT x2)
2. Counter any Henchman that comes to attack you (Y)
3. Evade over a Henchman (A)
4. Cape Stun (B)
5. Throw Combo Finisher (A+X)
7. Takedown Combo Finisher (Y+B)
8. Knock a Henchman down with a Batarang (LT)
9. Ground Pound the final Henchman (RT+Y)

These moves can be down in any order so long as it all takes place in the same Combo. This can be very frustrating; you will probably have the best luck on Round 3 of Intensive Treatment. Granted if you want to chip away at Medals on a different Combat Challenge like Sewer Bat, that is also smart.

Memorize these 9 moves; it is essential to pull off Perfect Combos in some of the later Combat Challenges to get a really good score… lucky us.

Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition 100% Achievement Guide: Batman - Arkham Asylum

Achievement #40 – Invisible Predator: Complete one Predator Challenge by using only Silent Takedowns & without being detected.
This is the only other random we can get in Challenge Mode. Load up the Predator Challenge Silent Knight. We must take down all 6 Henchmen with Silent Takedowns while also not being spotted. Getting spotted or taking out a Henchman in any other way will void the Achievement & we must restart. Time does not matter, so take it slow. Do not worry about Medals at the moment.

Now for the meat & potatoes of Challenge Mode; earning all 48 Medals.

Combat Challenge Bonus Points:
Getting a high Combo Multiplier will earn you extra Points; the higher the Combo the more Points you will get. Refrain from using Combat Finishers unless they are high profile Henchmen like Knife or Stun Rod. Using it on regular Henchmen will reduce your ability to get a high Combo by taking them out too soon, unless it is the last few guys to get a higher Variation Bonus.

Knocking enemies out of the Ring will also net you some Bonus Points, but not a lot.

Variation: Complete different Combat Moves in the same Combo for better Bonus Points. Using all 9 Combat Moves (Perfect Combo) will net you 5000 Points. Though you will still get a Bonus of varying Points even if you only pull off 3 Combat Moves.
Variation x3 = 100 Points
Variation x4 = 250 Points
Variation x5 = 500 Points
Variation x6 = 1000 Points
Variation x7 = 2000 Points
Variation x8 = 3500 Points
Variation x9 = 5000 Points

Dark Knight: Taking no damage in a single round will net you 500 Points. You can earn this on all 4 Rounds for a 2000 Point Bonus at the end of the Map.

Flawless Freeflow: Completing the entire Round in a single Combo will net you 1000 Points. Can be earned on all 4 Rounds for a 4000 Point Bonus at the end of the Map. Getting hit or missing an attack will break your Combo. This is easiest/best done on the first & or second Round of each Challenge; it is pretty hard doing this on later Rounds.

Perfect Knight: If you beat all 4 Rounds without taking any damage you will net this Bonus for an extra 5000 Points at the end of the Map. Not sure if you get this in place of the Dark Knight Bonus for Round 4 or if it stacks.

Note that Weapons do not disappear between Rounds! Even if a Round starts with all Unarmed Henchmen, they can pick up Metal Pipes, Stun Rods, or Guns if they were found in the previous Round so beware.

Sequence 19: Combat Challenges

1. Intensive Treatment, Sewer Bat, Shock & Awe, Rumble In the Jungle
2. Combat Medals: 12/24
3. Achievements: 41/47
—————————————————————————————————–

Intensive Treatment: (18,000 Points)

Round 1 – 3 Unarmed
Round 2 – 5 Unarmed
Round 3 – 2 Unarmed, 4 Metal Pipe
Round 4 – 8 Unarmed

This is the easiest of the Combat Challenges. If you unlocked the Flawless Free Flow Fighter on this Map, there is a high chance you got all 3 Medals on it in the process.

Sewer Bat: (18,000 Points)

Round 1 – 4 Unarmed
Round 2 – 3 Unarmed, 1 Knife
Round 3 – 6 Unarmed
Round 4 – 7 Unarmed, 1 Knife

This Challenge is a bit harder than Intensive Treatment. Starting on Round 2 we will have to deal with Knife Henchmen who will kill any Combo you have going if you attack them without Cape Stunning. Always keep them in your sights & take them out as soon as you have a Takedown Combo Finisher ready. Cape Stun them whenever possible to get their guard down. Also keep your eyes out for any Henchmen trying to throw things out you.

Shock & Awe: (30,000 Points)

Round 1 (43s) – 3 Unarmed, 1 Metal Pipe
Round 2 (58s) – 4 Unarmed, 1 Metal Pipe, 1 Stun Rod
Round 3 (1:13m) – 4 Unarmed, 2 Metal Pipe, 2 Knife
Round 4 (1:28m) – 7 Unarmed, 1 Knife, 1 Stun Rod

This is a huge difficulty spike in the Combat Challenges. We must beat each Round in the set time, or we will instantly die & fail the Challenge. As well, on Round 2 we will have to fight the very irritating Stun Rod Henchmen. Use Evade to get behind them without breaking your Combo or Cape Stun them. Evade is better as with Cape Stun they can still break your Combo by holding out their stupid Stun Rods while stunned. Take these Henchmen down as soon as possible when you get a Takedown Combo Finisher ready. Getting that Perfect Variation Bonus can be very handy on this Map if you can pull it off!

Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition 100% Achievement Guide: Batman - Arkham Asylum

Achievement #41 – Freeflow Bronze: Achieve 8 Medals on Combat Challenges.
Earning 8 Medals is not too difficult. If you got all 6 for Intensive Treatment & Sewer Bat you only need to get 1 on Shock & Awe plus Rumble In the Jungle.

Rumble In the Jungle: (30,000 Points)

Round 1 – 4 Unarmed, 1 Metal Pipe, 1 Knife
Round 2 – 8 Unarmed, 4 Metal Pipe
Round 3 – 4 Unarmed, 1 Metal Pipe, 1 Knife, 1 Stun Rod
Round 4 – 8 Unarmed, 1 Titan

This Map starts out pretty standard. Try your best to rack up as much Points as you can on Round 2 with Variations. If possible, try getting at least 15,000 Points in Round 2 alone; it is the easiest Round with lots of simple Henchmen. Round 4 gets interesting with our first Titan. Use Batarangs to disrupt their charge & hammer on them. Mount the Titan & steer him into the Henchmen for the Rodeo Strike Bonus. It is pretty much impossible to get a Flawless Freeflow Bonus, but Dark Knight is still possible if you are on the ball. Watch out for Henchmen picking up that Stun Rod!

Those are our basic Combat Maps. Out of the 4, Shock & Awe is the one that will most likely give you the most trouble. Stick with it… this is only going to get worse.

Sequence 20: Extreme Combat

1. Intensive Treatment, Sewer Bat, Shock & Awe, Rumble In the Jungle
2. Combat Medals: 24/24
3. Achievements: 43/47
—————————————————————————————————–

Intensive Treatment (Extreme): (30,000 Points)

Round 1 – 6 Unarmed
Round 2 – 6 Unarmed
Round 3 – 4 Unarmed, 4 Metal Pipe
Round 4 – 9 Unarmed, 1 Knife

Our first Extreme Map is not all that Extreme; beware the Gun Case on the walls that the Henchmen might go after! There is only one Case though so use that opportunity to get a Batclaw or Batarang throw into your Combos. The only wild card is the Knife Henchman… or Zsasz in the final Round, other than that it should not pose too much of an issue.

Sewer Bat (Extreme): (50,000 Points)

Round 1 – 8 Unarmed
Round 2 – 10 Unarmed, 2 Metal Pipe
Round 3 – 8 Unarmed, 1 Knife
Round 4 – 10 Unarmed, 6 Metal Pipe
(I had a hard time counting this Round…)

This Map can be very tricky since there are two Gun Cases on the wall now. Guns can kill you & your Combo very quickly. Always keep your eyes out for Henchmen running to those Cases, which is no small feat since there is quite a lot of enemies on this Map. Try using Rounds 2 & 4 to really drive up your Combos. As always, try really hard to get that Variation Bonus to at least 7 for that extra 2000 Points per Round. Try your best to complete the first Round or so in a Flawless Freeflow or at least Dark Knight; every little bit helps!

Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition 100% Achievement Guide: Batman - Arkham Asylum

Achievement #42 – Freeflow Silver: Achieve 16 Medals on Combat Challenges.
If you got all 12 Medals on the basic Combat Challenges, you only need to get an extra 4 Medals between the 4 Extreme Combat Challenges to unlock this Achievement.

Shock & Awe (Extreme): (30,000 Points)

Round 1 (43s) – 2 Unarmed, 2 Metal Pipe, 2 Knife
Round 2 (43s) – 2 Unarmed, 2 Metal Pipe, 2 Stun Rod
Round 3 (53s) – 4 Unarmed, 2 Metal Pipe, 1 Knife, 1 Stun Rod
Round 4 (58s) – 4 Unarmed, 2 Metal Bat, 2 Knife, 2 Stun Rod

If you thought basic Shock & Awe was hard… Extreme is ten times worse. Fortunately, we only have to get 30,000 Points not 50,000 Points which actually makes a huge difference for us. Always Takedown Combo Finish anyone wielding a Stun Rod, or Knife if you can swing it. Keeping up your Combo is almost mandatory to survive the Map in under the time limit.

Rumble In the Jungle (Extreme): (50,000 Points)

Round 1 – 4 Unarmed, 2 Metal Pipe, 1 Knife, 1 Stun Rod
Round 2 – 8 Unarmed, 1 Titan
Round 3 – 4 Unarmed, 2 Metal Pipe, 3 Knife, 1 Stun Rod
Round 4 – 8 Unarmed, 2 Titan

If you were able to beat Shock & Awe Extreme than this final Challenge Map should not pose too much trouble for you… in theory. This Challenge has a lot of everything. Beware the Gun Cases! Henchmen with Guns are VERY annoying on this Map due to how chaotic it can be; it is very easy to lose track of them.

If possible try getting a Flawless Freeflow as well as a Perfect Combo on Round 1 to really get a jump on the “easy” Round for some solid Points. I never had much luck getting a lot of Points on the 2 Rounds with Titans. But maybe that is just me…

Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition 100% Achievement Guide: Batman - Arkham Asylum

Achievement #43 – Freeflow Gold: Achieve all 24 Medals on Combat Challenges.
Get all 3 Medals for all 8 Combat Challenges. This is very difficult to unlock, 16 Medals is pretty double, but all 24 is pretty crazy. For some, this might not be too bad if you are intuitive with this form of combat in games. For other, this Achievement will single handily stop them for earning all 100% Achievements.

It is very luck dependant; some runs will be better than others. Do not try strong arming your way through it. If you are on a losing streak, just take a break & come back to it with a fresh head. You will be amazed at how much better you will play! Learning to pull off Perfect Combos is essential for getting a really good score as it as an “easy” 5000 extra Points. At the very least, a Variation x8 is equally as good.

Sequence 21: Predator Challenges

1. Silent Knight, Record Breaker, Survival Tactics, Invisible Predator
2. Predator Medals: 12/24
3. Achievements: 44/47
—————————————————————————————————–

In my opinion, the Predator Challenges are MUCH easier than the Combat Challenges. Instead of having to rack up a score, we have to complete 3 specific tasks; one per Medal. Fortunately, video guides can actually be pretty useful for these… so I have included a video per Challenge. Big shout out to CDM’s Gaming Channel for these great guides! For the majority of these, you probably won’t even need the guides, but I included them just in case since these can be pretty formulaic. Look at the requirements & perform an order of operations. Some Medals can be just done on the fly, while others may require a very specific event to occur.

Though there is a Timer, it is completely independent of the Medals which is awesome. Take as long as you need per Predator Map. For a lot of the Extreme Challenge Maps, it will require us to have certain Upgrades unlocked. If you completed all Riddler Challenges as well as beat the game, you should have more than enough XP to have maxed out Batman. There are 20 Upgrades total you can purchase.

Silent Knight:

6 Henchmen
Silence Is Golden – Take out a Henchman with a Silent Takedown
Blast Zone – Explode a Structural Weakness with Explosive Gel to knock out a Henchman
Mind Your Head – Knock a Henchman down with a Batarang, then Ground Pound them

Record Breaker:

6 Henchmen
Fall Guy – Pull a Henchman off a ledge with the Batclaw, knocking them out
Over the Ledge – Perform a Takedown while hanging off a ledge (Ledge Takedown)
Round the Bend – Perform a Takedown while hiding cover (Corner Takedown)

Survival Tactics:

6 Henchmen
Smash Landing – Smash through a glass ceiling onto a Henchman below with a Takedown
Hang Time – Perform an Inverted Takedown from a Gargoyle
Break Your Fall – Drop down onto a Henchman from above, knocking them down to the ground (doesn’t have to knock them out)

Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition 100% Achievement Guide: Batman - Arkham Asylum

Achievement #44 – Predator Bronze: Achieve 8 Medals on Predator Challenges.
Earn all 3 Medals on Silent Knight & Record Breaker & you will only need 2 Medals between Survival Tactics & Invisible Predator to get this Achievement.

Invisible Predator:

8 Henchmen
Watch Your Step – (Auto Proximity Detonation Upgrade) Knock down a Henchman with an Explosive Gel trap set on the floor
Crowd Control – Takedown 3 Henchman at once with one Structural Weakness using Explosive Gel
Grate Moves – Jump out of a Floor Grate & perform a Takedown immediately

Sequence 22: Extreme Predator

1. Silent Knight, Record Breaker, Survival Tactics, Invisible Predator
2. Predator Medals: 24/24
3. Achievements: 47/47
—————————————————————————————————–

On Extreme Predator Maps, the Gargoyles now all have bombs on them. While this does nerf our aerial effectiveness, there is a silver lining. By jumping onto a Gargoyle which then explodes, all Henchmen will be lured over to that one spot. This is great if you need to perform a Medal task requiring a bunch of guys grouped together.

Silent Knight (Extreme):

6 Henchmen
Three For Three – Take down 3 Henchmen with 3 different walls all at the same time using Explosive Gel
Break Through – Line Launch through a window into a Henchmen on the other side
Aerial Assault – Glide kick a Henchman & then Ground Pound them

This was the only Predator Map I actually needed the video guide for due to “Three For Three”. There is pretty much only one way to effectively pull this off & it has to happen first, before all the Henchmen go off their loops.

Record Breaker (Extreme):

6 Henchmen
Chain Reaction – Kick 2 Henchmen in one move using the Line Launcher
Three In A Row – Knock down 3 Henchmen using one Remote Control Batarang
Sonic Boom – Use the Sonic Shock Batarang to pacify a Henchman

Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition 100% Achievement Guide: Batman - Arkham Asylum

Achievement #45 – Predator Silver: Achieve 16 Medals on Predator Challenges.
Self explanatory, if you got all 12 Medals on the Basic Predator Challenges, you will only need an additional 4 between the Extreme Maps to unlock this Achievement. The Predator Challenges are much easier than the Combat Challenges. More formulaic, but also not really luck dependant which really makes a difference.

Survival Tactics (Extreme):

6 Henchmen
The Magic Number – Use the Triple Batarang to knock down 3 Henchmen with one throw
Kick Off – Use the Line Launcher to kick a Henchman off a ledge to knock him out
Hit & Run – Straight up just punch a Henchman for being here

Invisible Predator (Extreme):

8 Henchmen
Two For the Price of One – Use the Ultra Batclaw to tear down a Structural Weakness in the floor, knocking out 2 Henchmen
Shock Tactics – Appear out of know where to surprise an already terrified Henchman
Tug of War – Use the Ultra Batclaw to pull 3 Henchmen off a ledge at once, knocking them all out

I needed this guide as well, just to confirm how exactly you scare a Henchman. It seems self explanatory, but it takes a bit of finagling to actually make them “terrified” before your appearance will startle them.

Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition 100% Achievement Guide: Batman - Arkham Asylum

Achievement #46 – Predator Gold: Achieve all 24 Medals on Predator Challenges.
This Achievement is much easier than Freeflow Gold for a lot of reasons. While I did include videos… the only Predator Challenge that actual gave me trouble was Silent Knight (Extreme) due to having to take out 3 Henchmen with 3 different walls… For the others, you can pretty much make them up as you go which was kind of fun.

Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition 100% Achievement Guide: Batman - Arkham Asylum

Achievement #47 – Perfect Knight: 100% Complete.
This will be the final Achievement we unlock in Arkham Asylum. To earn 100% Game Completion, you must:
1. Complete the Campaign on any Difficulty
2. Complete 240/240 Riddler Challenges in the Campaign
3. Achieve all 24 Combat Challenge Medals
4. Achieve all 24 Predator Challenge Medals

Basically, the only thing that is really standing in your way of 100% Game Completion & 100% all Achievements are the Combat Challenge Medals. While videos can be helpful, it is so chaotic & dependant on skill/luck that you cannot replicate what a video does. You just need to understand how to pull off Variation Combos as well as have a lot of patience.

Conclusion:

The Arkham games are awesome, some of the best “Batman” media out there. Arkham Asylum is pretty linear, but it is still a pretty fun game; though a little unpolished compared to City or Knight. If it were not for the Combat Challenges, this would actually be a pretty simple, if not mind numbing 100% due to those Riddler Challenges. Games like Shadow of Mordor or Mad Max are good alternative ways to practice this style of combat as… they run on the same engine, though their combat is a lot more refined than Arkham Asylum. Just you wait until we do Arkham City next. The Combat Challenges get worse… even more Riddler Challenges too.
