Survival | Classic – Game Review 1 - steamsplay.com
The guide was created for beginners who have never played the Survival series, as well as veterans who have played the old Survival series but have not played the newer versions of this series. The guide includes the base of the game, a question / answer, and a list of all items and vehicles in the game. There are no plans to add a map to the manual, because the card itself can be memorized in 5-10 hours, and the most recent card from the top view is still missing, only the old one. The manual will be updated and revised as needed.

Character parameters

Survival | Classic - Game Review - Character parameters
We all know that for further survival you need to look for clothes, food, drinks, weapons, as well as keep warm with a fire or alcohol. The character has 5 parameters: Hunger, Thirst, Temperature, Health and Weight. The first 4 parameters are visible in the lower left corner of the screen, and the Weight is visible in the inventory above the slots (as well as the first 4 parameters – to the left of the Character).

Hunger. With severe hunger, the Character will slowly die, so watch this. You can satisfy your hunger by eating any food (Canned food, Fried meat, Dumplings, etc.), as well as drinking alcohol.

Thirst. With a strong thirst, the Character will slowly die, so watch this. You can quench your thirst by drinking drinks (Tea, Water, Beer, etc.), as well as eating some food (Canned food, Fried meat, Dumplings, and so on). Drinking alcohol awakens the thirst.

Temperature. In low temperature (Approximately 29 degrees Celsius), the character will die, so watch out for this. You can raise the temperature to normal (37.5 degrees Celsius) by warming up by the fire or drinking alcohol. It is better to have firewood up to 50 units for a reserve – you can survive almost all night, and it is enough to warm up (2-3 times) and fry food at the same time.

Health. At zero health, the Character will instantly die, which is natural. There are 3 ways to treat a character: eat, drink alcohol, and use medicines (syringe, first aid kit). Medicines restore health faster than alcohol and food.

Weight. At maximum weight, you can no longer take any other item, so keep this in mind if you are going to further explore the location, or when you take any item.

Question / Answer

Q: How to make a bonfire?
A: To begin with, we need an Ax, then we chop down any tree that caught your eye, with enough quantity we combine the Newspaper / Gasoline with Firewood – and it is almost ready. Combine Matches / Lighter with Firewood (Combined with Newspaper or Gasoline), look for a suitable place for it – and the fire is ready. You can warm up and fry food.

Q: Does the clothing provide thermal insulation or other properties?
A: No, but backpacks allow you to increase your Weight, and helmets can save your life from bullets

Q: What is the weapon, and where can I find it?
A: Weapons are found almost everywhere, from pistols to sniper rifles with machine guns, as well as cartridges, but finding a store / box for them is a matter of luck (Most often there are pistol magazines ). But the best weapons, along with stores / boxes, come across in locations such as Siberian, Bunker, Airfield and in one of the Caves, as well as in military boxes that are scattered almost everywhere. In order to switch the fire mode – press the V button, to zoom in while aiming – hold the Shift (Left) button. There are also body kits for them – mufflers and sights.

Q: There are shops / boxes, what should I do with them?
A: The magazine / box can be left in case you are looking for a replacement for your weapon, or in order to have a second or third weapon in your inventory. They can also be discharged if you need ammo by pressing Ctrl + RMB on the desired magazine. In order to load the magazine / box, you need to drag the appropriate cartridges to the magazines / boxes. Also, some weapons can be powered by different magazines / boxes for the same caliber. To save weight, it is better to take 2 magazines for one weapon (the first one is immediately loaded on the weapon).

Q: What locations are there, and how many cards are in the game?
A: There is only one map in the game, and the locations are as follows – Airfield, Atamanino, Bykovo, Bunker (next to the Airfield), Siberian, Hospital, two caves (the first is between the Airfield and Sovetskaya, the second is next to Sovetskaya), and the Subway Branch.

Q: Where can I find transport, and how to start it?
A: Transport appears in three locations: Hangars in the Aerodrome and Siberian (Accidentally), and in Soviet. For the transport to work, it is necessary to move the Battery and Fuel to the transport stern. Each vehicle has its own trunk / body size and its own speed with acceleration. Also, the transport has a long-term efficiency.

Q: Found hangars, but the gates are closed. How can you open them?
A: It is impossible to open the gates of the Hangars, but you can blow them up with Dynamite, combined with the Clock and Ammonal (They rarely appear). To activate dynamite, you need to double-click on the Dynamite in your inventory, and then stick it to the gates of the Hangars, move away – and boom, the gates are open. After leaving the hangars, think about whether you took the things you need or not, otherwise, if you leave the hangars, the gate may reappear.

Q: What about AI?
A: AI is also there, but without people: Some animals and mutants. It is easy to kill them, except for Bears, in a rare case – Dead Wolves and Freks. If you do not want to make contact – jump to the place where the AI cannot reach you – they will reach you and lose interest in you, in some case – they will stop and lose you from the visibility view (It also works if you get into any transport ). There are mainly single AIs, but they rarely can attack in a crowd. If you hear the roar of the AI, but it does not come to you, be alert – there may be a player nearby.

List of all items, weapons, vehicles and AI

Note: W – Weight, MA – Maximum Amount, AT – Ammo Type (For firearms). Weight is taken into account at the maximum quantity in one slot. The weight of a firearm is taken into account both without a magazine / box, and with a magazine / box. Transport and Clothing are excluded in this case.
